Dr. Blackwell is a fantastic doctor. Been 2 months since my surgery and I am going into therapy now to increase flexibility and strength in my hand. I highly recommend Ortho GA.

He's really a great doctor he takes the time to listen and explain what he's encouraging you to do, but he also respects what your wants are. He seems to really know his business. He seems to be a very good doctor, as well as a good person. Each time I've gone to him, he's helped me and been respects my desire not to jump into having surgery. He's wonderful.

My husband went to several Dr's before coming to Macon. Dr. Blackwell is an excellent, professional Dr. He done an amazing job and I will always recommended him. Thanks so much

Dr Blackwell is a great doctor to work with. He is knowledgeable, and very professional. I would highly recommend him, which is actually what I did to my sister-in-law. Nothing but great encounters.

I hold Dr Blackwell in high esteem, he has treated my granny, my mother and now myself . Besides being a POE, he is our multigenerational hand surgeon. His assistant, Ms. Trish W. is experienced, pleasant and diligent. His current Nurse Practitioner was very helpful.

Excellent from the reception desk to X-ray. Robert was very gentle and explained my condition so that I could understand it. Could not have asked for better treatment and results.

Dr. Blackwell is the best hand surgeon in Macon!!!! He really cares for you, and wants the best for your health. Does not insist on Surgery but lets the patient decide which course of action they can live with. All the staff is super nice and caring

Dr. Blackwell has amazing bedside manner, he is patient and takes his time to answer your questions, and is very intelligent. The staff at OrthoGeorgia are all very friendly and helpful. The Physical Therapy/Occupational therapy department is just as wonderful and have been a huge help in my recovery.

Dr Blackwell is very easy to speak with and takes the time to explain what is involved in surgical procedures and the extent of what will happen afterwards as far as therapy to regain flexibility and strength. I recommend him highly.

I have dealt with a lot of doctors in dealing with different orthopedic problems and Dr Blackwell was not only very knowledgeable but had a great attitude and quickly showed me the problem and what possible ways of treating it. Definitely visit OrthoGeorgia for these type problems and request him.

This Doctor actually cares about the patient and the people he services, a rare breed these days. Great staff to boot. With new procedure using local numbing you’re in and out .

Dr. Blackwell was knowledgeable, informative and didn't seem in a rush. He instilled confidence. He was pleasant and smiled a lot. Best "bedside manner" of any doctor I've ever had!

Outstanding. I fractured my wrist on 3/31/22 and Dr. Blackwell performed surgery on my wrist less than 48 hours later. He thoroughly explained his plans for treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Blackwell to others.

My husband and I are very impressed with Dr. Blackwell and his staff! Dr. Blackwell is very knowledgeable and was very informative about the conditions that I have. His willingness to work with my rheumatologist amazes me and makes me happy. He is definitely a keeper!!!

He was extremely informative, patient and attentive. Received an injection and it wasn’t painful. Received a brace and given clear instruction and probably outcomes.

Dr. Blackwell is very good, he takes his time and explains everything so you know what's going on Answers all you questions. Recommend him to anyone who has problem with there hands. His staff is also good at helping the patient. Wouldn't use anyone else.

I would highly recommend Dr. Blackwell for a surgeon, I had reconstruction surgery on my left hand. I would also recommend Diana in the Physical Therapy department.

Dr Blackwell is top of the line for sure . I couldn’t ask for a more professional expert in his field . He had a nice bedside manner and was very attentive to my needs. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. He also did an awesome job at mending my broken finger.

Dr. Blackwell and Ms. Spires, FNP-C are both fantastic. They are very informative and care about their patience. Not real fond of the shots , however the visit is rather enjoyable.

Amazing practice and Dr. Blackwell is such a WONDERFUL Doctor!!! I can’t say enough about him!!

I love this Doctor so much. He addressed EVERY concern I had regarding the care of my autistic son's care. He actually took the time to LISTEN!!! WE have NEVER had a Dr that even somewhat acted like they cared. 20 out of 10 recommend this man for ALL I do mean ALL of your Ortho issues! He's just the Bees Knees

I have been going to Dr. Blackwell for quite a few years. He's very good and have done two surgeries on my hand. I have already recommended him to friends and family.

Dr Blackwell is very compassionate and caring and does an excellent job of explaining all of your options/ expectations for surgery.

I visit every 4 months to evaluate for injections in my hands. Both thumbs specifically and a trigger finger. I don't ever have to wait long before being seen. I'm in and out within 30 minutes unless I have to take x-rays.

Dr. Blackwell is an absolutely pleasure. Coming to the office in pain and unsure of what was going on was hard for me. He was ver knowledgeable and took his time and explained everything to me so that I received a great understanding! He even drew a picture! Thank you!

I am a frequent flyer at OrthoGeorgia because they are close, they are friendly and most importantly, they are GOOD! I saw Dr Blackwell today for a small mass on my index finger. His bedside manner is exceptional, friendly, open and thorough. He did an exam very gently, explained his findings and recommendations and presented my options. He treated me right then, no pain with a numbing spray. The mass is gone and I walked out a happy camper. If you are within 50 miles of Macon, OrthoGeorgia should be your only choice!! Dr. Blackwell is amazing. He explains everything very well and makes sure you understand. He did a carpal tunnel release on my right hand and I am scheduled to do the left in 2 weeks. It has only been 2 weeks since the right, but it is doing great. I feel completely confident in Dr. Blackwell!

Had shots in both thumb joints, he is so good at giving shots. I have been seeing him since 2006 for several things, would not see anyone else for hand or elbow problems.

Dr Blackwell is a very compassionate and caring man. He always takes t he e conservative approach to whatever the issue might be and I and my wife appreciates that. He is a Christian and shares his faith thru the way he practices medicine.

Dr.Blackwell is a great doctor. He has helped my husband with all his hand and finger issues.
