Dr. Abramson is very personable. He's willing to spend as much time with you as you need & answers all your questions.

The entire office is great so friendly and always smiling. Dr Abramson is the same so nice and listens to you fully, he is also thourgh with his exam to.

I have been is such a significant amount of pain and Dr. Ambramson was extremely patient and kind to answer my questions and help me understand what is going on in my spine. I was crying through my whole exam because of my pain level and he was so incredibly patient. 10/10 recommend.

Everyone at Dr.Abramson’s office was wonderful a very prompt and just so kind a professional. Not many places are that way but I’m blessed to have them in my corner every last person has been great! Even when I was at the Doctors Hospital everyone there was wonderful an took great care of my every need! I’ve never been to a hospital that treated you that wonderful! Again I was blessed to be sent there and be seen by Dr.Abramson’s team!

As always my visit with Dr Abramson was informative and helpful. Dr Abramson’s staff is excellent.

Dr. Abramson really listens to and takes the time to complete a good physical each visit. You NEVER feel as if he is rushing through your visit.The office and clinical staff are friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend him and the practice.

I have had 3 appointments rescheduled i get one and wanting to be on time . And i didn't get a cancel appointment im rushing forgot my paper work she says i won't be able to be seen. I say oh well I've been canceled before she says not my fault. I have had conversations on the phone rude person. Dr. Abramson was very concerned with my condition and is sending me for a lower back mri to see the extent of damage I have.

I was very pleased with my visit to see Dr. Abramson. He was thorough and explained things in easy to understand terms. I recommend him.

Dr. Abramson is a wonderful and skilled doctor. He is thoughtful and kind.

I have been under the care of Dr. Abramson, for over 20 years. I have nothing but praise for the man. He is almost like family. He has always been compassionate, and intrested in my wellbeing. He has always given me prompt care and told me my opinions. If I have any complaints it's not with him but I've had several appointments cancelled and rescheduled due to him needing to be in surgery. Dr. Robert Abramson is the absolute best neurosurgeon. He is not only a fantastic Dr. but is also very compassionate and listens to your every concern. He has been my Dr. for 17 years and has performed a couple surgeries during that time. He always finds a way to fit me into the schedule and I appreciate everything he does. I feel like I am visiting an old friend when I have an appt. with him. My husband and I both have always felt comfortable asking any and all questions, he is patient and thorough with his answers. I have seen Dr. Abramson for over 20 years. I hope I never have to see anyone else. Truthful. Trustworthy. I can go on and on.

Dr Abramson was great but if you ever need to ask a question or have an issue and leave a message with his nurse to return your call you can forget it. TWICE it happened with no call back so I switched surgeons mid treatment because of this.

Dr Abramson has cancelled 2 appointments, next visit would have been 3 weeks out on top of waiting more than a month for follow -up . Surgeon skills I have heard are good but don't count being seen, if you're in pain or suffering in a timely manner. I am now looking for another specialist.

Dr Abramson was very caring and got me in for surgery in a matter of days. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. So happy to be part of this wonderful office.

I would rather Dr Abramson operate on me more than anyone else but I cannot continue to handle the constant time off and all three appointments being canceled and rescheduled. Then the rescheduled appointments which were moved months out got canceled as well. Finally after getting into my initial visit after a cancellation Dr Abramson sent me for MRI and said I want you back next week. I got the cancellation call as I was pulling into the parking lot for my appointment. They rescheduled a month out and I was in the room to be seen for over an hour before the nurse came in to cancel that appointment. I called back several times afterwards and no one has returned my call yet. I took off work 3 times and live over an hour away in SC so needless to say my employer was not happy with me either. Dr Abramson operated on my back in 2004 and he was wonderful to deal with back then and was I ecstatic when I found he was back in the area. So much for that short lived relief as I will have to get someone else to look after my neck issues now. Doctor Abramson did my surgery the 1st 2010 the 2nd 2011 his the best to me hands down. He was at Augusta back then.

Dr. Robert Abramson came highly recommended to me by my neurologist. I felt very comfortable discussing the symptoms that were causing my physical problems. Having seen my MRI, he explained that I needed neck surgery urgently and then answered all of our questions. Eight days later I entered the hospital for surgery which was successful in taking the pressure off my spinal cord by correcting a bulging disc. He checked on me both days after surgery to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything for pain. From the first time I met Dr. Abramson at his office, I could tell that he was a caring person and very concerned that I have surgery as soon as it could be scheduled. There was no hesitation on my part because I knew that I would be in the good hands of a skilled surgeon.

I was very impressed with the office and how it was prepared for the safety of his staff and patients. This was my first visit and I was satisfied with his recommendations. Looking forward to going back after some tests. Praying that he will be able to treat my back!

Absolutely the most compassionate doctor you will ever find. His experience and wisdom is so rare. By far a world class neurosurgeon.

My wife had a brain aneurysm In April 2015. Was operated on by Dr. Abramson. The surgery was a complete success. He he came by the waiting room at the hospital every day and gave an update. He was very professional and told us the truth; no false promises. Sandra was in intensive care and had an extensive stay in the hospital. He worked with us to find a suitable Therapy center where she stayed for six weeks. With numerous visits to Dr Abramson. Sandra was 68 then and is 73 now. She is doing well thanks to Dr Abramson and the Good Lord.

He has a great beside manner. I was very impressed with him in all aspects.

The staff is absolutely amazing. They make you feel like a guest in there home. Dr Abrahamson is genuinely concerned for your well-being. I am a better person when I leave every time

Husband MRI shows tumor (neoplasms) on the brain. Dr. Abramson said it was unoperatble but he would do a biopsy (laser) to see it benign after he ordered more MRI's. After second round of MRI's (still show neoplasm) Dr. Abramson said he thinks my husband had a stroke and not cancer. All of husbands records for Dr. Abramson visits show the diagnosis as Neoplasms on the cerebrum (brain) no mention in the records of a stroke.

The office is exceptional from checking in to checking out! No wait time, very informed staff and Dr. Abramson is an excellent neurosurgeon! I’ve never felt rushed and all my questions and/or concerns have been addressed very professionally and respectfully. A great doctor!

The office personnel are always professional in every way. They are always very helpful and courteous. I have been very pleased with Dr Abramson and his understanding of trying all avenues for my problems rather than opting for surgery in the very beginning. I have not seen this in other doctors in the past. He makes me feel very comfortable in making health decisions.

I liked Dr. Abramson and his staff. I have, however, called twice to get a refill of some paid medication because I have yet to get any injections or any relief. I called on Friday (11/29) and again on Monday (12/2) requesting a refill. I was told it was forwarded to his office but, I have yet to receive a call or a refill. I am still in quite a bit of pain and will not get any pain injection until next week (12/10). Any help will be appreciated. Chad

Dr. Abramson came in and was so polite and professional right off the bat. He explained my problem and listened intently to what I had to say. He made sure that both my wife and I understood what was going on. When we returned for the second appointment, he was very interested in giving me all of my options. I like very much so far.

Following an automobile accident that caused injuries to my spine from the whiplash action of being hit from behind while sitting at a red light, I sought medical treatment for those injuries. I was finally seen by Dr. Abramson who reviewed my MRI and X-rays and following a physical examination determined that I needed to be referred to a pain management physician to receive proper treatment in a conservative manner. So far, the pain management approach has allowed me to return to a more pain free life with few restrictions. Dr. Abramson is a truly gifted spinal surgeon but prefers to whenever possible treat his patients in a conservative approach and I highly recommend him if you are troubled with spinal injuries or issues.

I found Dr. Abramson to be warm, engaging and patient while reviewing the test data I brought with me, seeking a second opinion. Left feeling like I should go to him for first opinions.

Showed compassion and how he handled a second medical crisis I experienced after surgery.

I have recently undergone a spinal fusion under the care of Dr. Abramson. I always feel that I am in good hands as his patient. My first encounter with him was 12 years ago when I fell and severely injured my neck. Within minutes of being referred to him I had an appointment to see him within the hour. Within 2 hours I was on my way to the hospital and admitted for surgery. Dr. A literally saved my life and my mobility. I am grateful that he is my physician.

I will highly recommend Dr. Abramson to family & friend. Dr. Abramson did further testing to make sure the tests were accurate.

I cannot recommend Dr. Abramson highly enough. His knowledge and skill in diagnosing and performing surgery is outstanding. He is a compassionate doctor, and he gives his patients all the office time they feel they need to completely understand their medical problem and to explain their options. I especially appreciated his not being quick to rush into surgery, but rather to recommend first more conservative approaches to managing my pain.

I have only had one visit with Dr. Abramson so my opinions are limited to the 20 minutes or so that I spent with him for an initial visit. However, I was very impressed with the attention given to me and how the Doctor listened to my complaints with concern. He decided what should be done and I am awaiting the hospitals call for further instructions. So far I am very pleased with Dr, Abramson and his staff.

Dr abramson and his staff were very professional and explained in easy to understand language my condition and options. He is conservative in suggesting several options to help me decide the best path to improve my back pain.

In 1999 Dr. Abramson ordered a myelogram. Radiolologist found a mass at T-6 & Dr. Abramson ordered more images test (MRI etc.) It was determined that I had a intramedullary spinal tumor. My only option was surgery. Surgery was scheduled and the tumor was removed after 9 hours of surgery. Dr Abramson, brought in a team of professionals to assist in this surgery and they successfully got the tumor out. I'm walking today because of this man! Sometimes we expect to much. I can walk and work. Thanks!

I’m totally distraught that you’re not in Lake Charles I don’t know who to go to for my knee, my necks awesome have steroid injections way too many I believe in the last 4 months2 in my hips, 2 in my shoulders1 in my bursa. I was diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Malformation with a syrinx. Dr Abramson performed a Decompressive Craniectomy in 2004. Surgery was a complete success. I quickly returned to my normal, healthy life. Cannot say enough about Dr. Abramson. Phenomenal Surgeon

Dr Abramson has performed 5 spinal fusions for me. I've had a total of 14 spine related surgeries and he is by far the best I've ever had. I should be wheelchair bound but instead I've built my own home and I golf weekly and hunt and fish as often as possible. Great dr would recommend him to every one..

He did my 2 level fusion for l4-l5 and l5-s1 back on 8/2010. Going on 7 years later and I'm still doing great! Back to playing softball, a little basketball and mud runs. I was 28yo when I required the surgery due to ruptured discs and during the surgery was found to have a disc that didn't fuse right at birth. I played college basketball so have been doing sports my whole life. I'm now 35yo and the only residual effects I have are some stiffness in my back and slight numbness to my L foot.

Horrible

I think I would have gotten better treatment at a vet! It was the worst experience of my entire life. He has done SIX surgeries on me in 11 months and each time took more discs out of my back! I am now in 10/10 pain constantly and can not move at all! I am completely bedridden. He allowed spinal fluid to leak from my back for three weeks. When I aske him why this was happening to me his reply was, If you didn't have bad luck you'd have no luck at all!

He did an anterior cervical spinal fusion of c3-c7. He was amazingly. It has been 10 years now and I have not had any problems. My girlfriend had the procedure done by someone else, and has had to have 2 more surgeries. So glad that I found this man.

I have never felt so mistreated in NY life. The most unprofessional office and doctor I have ever visited.
