Dr. Rikesh Patel

Dr. Patel is an amazing cardiologist who saved my life this past August. He is very thorough and gets things done quickly and efficiently. We will be forever grateful for him and his PA Stacy. They are a great team.

Dr Rikesh Patel dismissed all of my concerns. I also heard one of his staff talking to another staff about how a patient must’ve been lying about not smoking because one of their vitals was off. Didn’t seem professional to me.

When I saw Dr Patel for the first time, he seemed very professional, and thorough. He seemed like a good doctor. About a week after I visited with him, I had a question. I called the office and left a message. No one bothered to respond to my question for a whole week. About a month later, I called the office and left a message letting them know I was having an allergic reaction to a medication Dr Patel had prescribed. After 3 full days, no one had bothered to respond to my message. I don't expect people to drop everything and call me back 5 minutes after I leave a message. However, I do think it is reasonable to expect a doctor to respond to a message within 24 hours. I am not comfortable with a doctor who doesn't respond to his patients. Dr. Patel is one of the best. He was honest and upfront with all my care options. Gave me a great recovery plan. And is now my primary care cardiologist. If you are having heart issues this is the man you want to help you.

Dr. Patel is a good guy and a great clinician. He is very thorough, empathic and provides pertinent advice and gives positive feedback. I would highly recommend him.

Please do me a favor and avoid Rikesh Patel. They are racking up bills for no reason to bill insurance. We are filling an official complaint to the medical board for proper investigation, and we will be aggressive with this process. This guy is clueless.

I really liked Dr Patel. He’s very professional yet has a great personality! He’s also eager to answer any and all questions. It was quite a nice visit although he was running pretty late. That’s the ONLY reason he didn’t get 5 stars! I think I’m going to keep him around!

Dr.Patel LISTENED to me. He was concerned about my concerns and what I was feeling. When he was in the patient room during my visit, nothing else mattered to him. He was not rushing off to the next patient. I would recommend him and his office 1000%.

Dr Patel is one of the most compassionate and caring Drs I have ever met. He cares about his patients above all else. My husband was having heart issues and Dr Patel monitored everything going on and kept me advised as we could not get to Dallas to be under his physical care. As I new patient, the first challenge is to set an appointment. The clinic staff made that easy. Once in "the system" the information flow to describe the purpose of each visit was communicated to me in plenty of time to make the necessary preparations. Dr. Patel communicates clearly and takes the time to answer all the questions you may have and anticipates others that you may not have thought of yet. Recently I had an opportunity to visit Dr.Rikesh Patel, my cardiologist. The wait to see him was less than 10 minutes. Before seeing me, Dr.Patel had already reviewed my lab reports, notes from my primary care physician. I found Dr. Patel to be an excellent listener asking appropriate questions. He took time explaining my cardiac-disease process and patiently discussed his treatment plans. He also explained to me the reasons why I needed to change some medications. He made sure to obtain prior approval with justification for the medications he prescribed. Dr. Patel is a dedicated physician with a compassionate nature, and he treated me in a professional manner. I have been a patient of Heart Place under the care of Dr. Patel for many years. All these years I have been very satisfied with the office staff who always did a great job to give me a heads-up about the appointment, and courteous check-in. They were most responsive whenever I needed to make a change about my appointment! I always considered Dr. Patel is one of the best in his field, and he was always very thorough in going over my current physical conditions (per blood test results) and evaluated the progress from the past visits, and then recommending the forward treatment plan. Dr. Patel was my late husbands cardiologist and is now my cardiologist. He is extremely thorough, professional, knowledgeable and unlike other doctors, he takes however much time is necessary to discuss everything with you, answer any questions you may have and make sure you do now leave with anything unanswered, untreated or unasked. In my opinion, Dr. Patel walks on water. I feel 100% confident leaving my heart health in his hands. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Excellent interventional cardiologist. He is very caring and thorough. Just had a great experience with him when he discovered a blockage and placed a stent. I highly recommend him for skill and caring

I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with the staff. From the front desk, to the nurses, and Dr. Patel. HE FIX MY LEG & THE NEXT DAY I WAS WALKING A ROUND WITHOUT ANY PAIN IN IT AT ALL. SOMETHING I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO FOR TWO YEARS ,( WHY BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID OF DOCTORS ) HE IS THE BEST

I recommend Dr. Patel as one of the most outstanding physicians I have ever encountered in my 72 years. He is extremely intelligent and compassionate and speaks to his patients in a caring way which is easy to understand as a layman. He encourages you to ask questions so that there is a clear dialogue between patient and physician. It is obvious that he truly cares about his patients as demonstrated by his very warm personality. He is the best!

Dr. Patel is very professional and has excellent bedside manners. He makes you feel that you are important and wants to treat and help you. I am very fortunate to have been blessed with him as my cardiologist, I feel he has saved my life and he truly cares about his patients.
