From the first phone call to inquire about a new patient consult, to walking into the soothing waiting area. The staff was so accommodating. Once in the chair, the assistant and doctor made me feel assured and comfortable with the visual and explanation of what would take place. I’m grateful that attention was particularly, given to making sure I didn’t experience pain. ????????. The doc also followed up to see if I was feeling okay the next day.???????? Ultimately, I think Dr. R.Short and his staff are a God send. If any one needs an experienced Endodontist doctor, “APEX ENDODONTICS, P.C.”, is the place to be!

I had a root canal and it was a horrible experience with this office and after a year I am getting another bill saying I still owe money. The dentist along with his staff are not friendly sometimes even rude. I was recommended by my dentist but I would not recommend this office at all.

Best root canals ever!

What an amazing experience!! I came in with severe pain from an infection. My general dentist gave me antibiotics and pain medicine that didn’t seem to be working. Dr. Short quickly diagnosed the source of my pain and explain to me what a solution was gonna be. Dr. Short made sure I was scheduled within two weeks despite how busy and packed their schedule is. He also prescribed a stronger anabiotic that work immediately which helped the pain go away. The day of my root canal I of course was nervous about getting a root canal especially about the pain seeing that I had already endured so much pain. Dr. Short reassured me there will be no pain, but I was skeptical. LET ME TELL YOU GUYS SOMETHING….. I felt ZERO pain!! Dr. short and his staff made me feel super comfortable and at ease. I’ve never had a visit go so smooth and painless before. If only he could be my regular dentist because it’s so hard to find a dentist that works fast but still is gentle. A big thank you to Dr. Short and his staff. They were very professional, I really appreciate you guys. 10 out 10 experience.

Dr. Short is the best. My 13 year old required a root canal, and everything went perfectly. My son didn't experience any pain or discomfort. Dr.Short is extremely knowledgeable and patient.

I’ve had two root canals done by Dr. Short and both were great experiences. The first time I didn’t know what to expect due to hearing a whole lot of horror experiences from other people about their root canals done by other doctors. I can truly say that Dr. Short did an excellent job from start to finish. I did not feel any pain at all during the procedure and it only took around 30 mins. If I ever need another root canal, I will definitely contact him to make it happen and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Short and his staff are great! I just had a root canal done by him, and it was excellent. Sometimes, the worst part of dental work is getting the area numbed with multiple shots. Dr. Short has amazing technique and skill when doing this. The whole process went well, and I found his staff to be very professional and efficient.

I am very pleased with the work done by Dr. Short from Apex Endodontics. The procedure was a root canal, I did not and have not experienced any pain.

I was referred to Dr. Short by my Dentist and let me just say that I only positive things to say about my experience. First of all, the office is so well kept and smells amazing every time you enter. Second, the staff is so very friendly and accommodating to your needs. I always felt like I was a priority and they made sure that I was well taken care of and was very comforting. I had to see Dr. Short for a root canal because my root curved so my dentist wasn't able to do it. Root canals are never pleasant but he did an amazing job! I never felt any discomfort. He was very nice and he and his staff were very professional. I would use him again if I ever need another one!

This meant everything to me, being that I had been in pain for about a month & a half! I was definitely pleased with the 2 root canals that he performed on me. From the front desk to the chair, I was treated with great care and concern. I was in need of a root canal - blah! Dr. Short has performed two procedures for me. One in 2019 and the other in July 2021. I strongly recommend Dr. Short. He and his staff make you feel at ease and explain each step in detail. Also check out his books. I found mine on Amazon. You will not be disappointed.

I went my general dentist about 3 weeks ago complaining of tooth pain. She took ex rays, wrote a Rx for pain meds & referred me to Dr. Short for an Eval & Tx. She explained that most Endodonic appointments are being sched at least 6 wks out during these times but said, if I can’t get an appointment anywhere &/or if the pain persist to come back to her. I called Dr. Shorts office & got an appointment scheduled for 7/27/21. The prescribed pain meds never worked & on 7/7 I woke up to excruciating pain. I decided to call Dr. Shorts office & asked if there were any cancellations & explained I was in unbearable pain. I don’t know if there were cancellations or not, all I know is they got me in the office same day & performed two root canals on me. I am forever thankful to Dr. Short & his wonderful staff! He is very nice and informative. The office is nice & clean. The staff is great. They wash their hands & change their gloves when leaving & entering pt rooms. He threatened to call the police if I ever called his practice again when I had questions about the root canal he just performed. If I had checked these reviews before seeing this dentist I would have cancelled my appointment. Not worth the humiliation and demoralization!

Did not give enough medication during the procedure, endured a tremendous amount of pain. Also, had a small balance that i was contacted about years later that several physicians usually write off( under $10). unprofessional staff. My nephew was the patient.

Dr. Short was very professional. He personally called the next day to make sure everything was okay. I had to go back to Apex Endodontics in Smyrna, Georgia on July 29th (first visit was July 13th). The symptoms I had before getting a retreatment on a root canal still existed. I had to go to my personal doctor’s office in August to get more amoxicillin because I was in pain (Dr. Short didn’t see a reason to prescribe more amoxicillin/he didn’t see anything wrong in the x-rays). Went in for a consultation and ended up doing the procedure on the spot. Dr. Short made me feel at ease and was very thorough. The staff were very friendly and personable. Something as small as moisturizing my lips before the procedure goes to show that patient care is at the top of their list. I even made an appointment for additional procedures.
