Excellent visit.Heather is excellent in helping patients with their visit and very courteous

Dr. Uhl and the staff at Bone and Joint are wonderful! They immediately assessed my broken wrist and because it was so bad, they secured a room for me at Albany Med to wait for an opening for surgery. EVERYONE at Albany Med was also incredibly helpful! This is the best hospital I’ve been to. I’ll always recommend it to anyone I see. Luckily, there was an opening that night and once again all the doctors, nurses, and staff were excellent when explaining everything and helping me with my pain ( which was so intense before I got there). Surgery went well and by 7 am the next morning, Dr. Uhl and his team were at my bedside to make sure I was okay. I can’t thank Dr. Uhl and Albany Med and The Bone and Joint Center enough! I’m so so so lucky that I called The Bone and Joint Center for their help. ????

I first saw Dr. Uhl back in 2008 for a problem with a wrist resulting from a 1980 accident. I was back this week for a further evaluation. I am happy that he is still at this practice and is continuing his excellent care.

Excellent care and compassion.

This is my 3rd surgery with DR.Uhl happy to say all were very successful I wouldn’t see anyone else.

Dr. Uhl is always kind, professional and prepared. He is genuinely concerned for his patients. He is direct and straight to the point with your consultation including details, progress, expectations and what to prepare for next. He welcomes and encourages your feedback and responds honestly.

Dr. Uhl always finds time for me. He doesn’t rush, he’s thorough and works with you for the best treatment possible. His nurse, Heather, is always helpful and very personable as well!

Dr Uhl is fantastic with our special needs son.

Dr Uhl worked on my hand in 1990 The hand was never suppose to work and was in a frozen state He tried new surgery that was not done before in its time, Thirty years later the hand works wonderfully Thank You So Much Dr Uhl Richard Camacho

Dr.Uhl is the best! He has taken care of my hands for many years now and I wouldn't go to anyone else!

Dr. Uhl performed surgery about ten years ago and I have had terrific results. I had to go back for an unrelated issue and he was even more phenomenal this time. Terrific and thorough doctor and surgeon!

I have been a patient of Dr. Uhl’s for a little over a year now. He was gracious enough to take me on with continuing hand issues after previous surgeries. He is always patient, kind and takes his time with me making sure all my questions are answered. I highly recommend him!!

Just awful. He injected topical anesthesia into my vein by mistake, and damaged my knuckle during a procedure. His assistant is rude, he is impatient and condescending, and the office is so unpleasant. Avoid.

Dr. Uhl has been a fantastic doctor. He's direct but has taken the time to explain things when it comes to my wrist injury.

I am so grateful Dr. Uhl accepted me as a second opinion patient. Dr. Uhl is patient, kind, understanding, he listens, but most of all, and most importantly HE CARES. The staff is also very kind and helpful. I am so glad to be a patient! Thank you Dr. Uhl and staff.

After taking the time to have my records sent so I could see Dr. Uhl for a second opinion (for non-surgical management of painful hand arthritis), he refused to see me. For a second opinion. So don't bother to go to this guy unless you want surgery.

My daughter had the most demeaning, sarcastic, and degrading experience with this Dr Richard Uhl. She had to ask for post-op therapy for a thumb that she still could not move at all two weeks after her surgery. Dr. Uhl further became angry when she started to cry and took his abusive conversation out into the hallways for all to hear. Despicable human being. Dr. explained my situation that I have. Knowing that I have history of medical health he said what the procedures I would be going through to hopefully help me without surgery. I am trusting him through my trial through this so I will have full use of my hand.

Dr Uhl and Heather were accommodating in getting my son in for a same day appointment. Both were great with him. I highly recommend Dr Uhl!

Dr. Uhl was always in a rush. We waited for about 40mins beyond our scheduled time, to see him for about 5min. He may know his stuff well. But he was very impatient when we asked questions.

He was incredibly kind, listened respectfully with full attention. He took time to explain his thoughts and asked me if I had further questions. I felt very well cared for.

Dr. Ugly may know his stuff but he is very rude. His secretaries take forever to send scripts to other hospitals. He seems like a doctor who is only concerned about how much money he makes and not the well-being of his patients which really should be his first priority.
