Dr. Richard A Ratner

Dr. Ratner saved my marriage, my career, and possibly my life. I was his patient twice weekly for five years, and after that I twice re-engaged with him for shorter periods that I would call "booster" sessions during particularly stressful periods. I would call my sessions classical Freudian talk therapy, and add that this course of treatment was exactly what I needed. At the outset, I had my doubts: How could me talking and him not talking possibly make me better? But he did make me better. Over time, I cast off the beliefs and behaviors shaped by my parents and became a whole person, able to optimally participate in life. I could write a book, but I have to stop. Bottom line: Consider yourself fortunate to have the opportunity to be a patient of Der. Ratner.

He promised my friend who was a crime victim that he would accept insurance through the crime victims compensation program, then changed his mind and demanded payment up front. His only advice was "Google it."
