Richard R. Olson

I am so sad that Dr. Olson is retiring! He has been such a light in my dark world! I have been his patient for several years and my experience with him has ALWAYS been top notch. I am going to miss his kind and patient demeanor. I can only pray that the person taking Dr. Olson's place is close to what he has been for me. Good luck in Retirement!

I would strongly recommend Dr Olson to family and friends but unfortunately he is retiring -I wish him well. He is competent and compassionate , thorough and teacher-like. I will miss him.

Dr. Olson has made an incredible difference in the quality of my health and life. His staff is amazing as well.

Dr. Olson took extra time to treat a badly swollen calf in addition to giving me the Euflexxa shots in my knees. His skillful hands saved me from the great pains I have had for the last several weeks. I felt much better when I walked out of ROA.

I was called in on time, treated nicely and efficiently. I explained my problems and Dr. Olson took care of every thing as listed . I was very pleased with my visit and treatment.

Came in for a work in visit. Painful knee, popliteal cyst . Very greatfull Dr Olson was able to see me and drain it. Almost instant relief. A very dedicated Doctor.

I would definitely recommend this provider. Since I started seeing him, he has always listened to my concerns and will make adjustments to treatment when it is possible. He has never seemed in a rush to get me in and out of an appointment.

Dr. Olson was thorough. He answered all my questions and did a great job of explaining information to me.

* It was easy to make a last-minute appointment. * I waited less than five minutes to be called into my appointment. * Dr. Olson wasn't sure of the solution so didn't hesitate to contact a colleague. * I encountered four staff members during my visit, and they were all very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Olson is a wonderful rheumatologist, I have seen him for 23 years for RA and always helps me with any problems I may have, I hope he doesn't retire too soon, Thank you, Dr. Olson

I've been a patient of Dr. Olson for 5+ years. He is extremely patient. He takes the time to explain things in a manner that i can understand. He is prompt to answer phone calls or address immediate medical changes/ concerns. His office does an impeccable job of working with specialty pharmacies to assure you receive your medication and at the most affordable price. The most important thing is that Dr. Olson listens, has compassion, and is fully engaged in helping his patients feel better.

I appreciated the option of a phone appointment, rather than in person. Dr. Olson listened to my concerns and addressed them to my satisfaction. Wasn't good. He lacks compassion and understanding of my overall needs. He only cares about the numbers. Lupus involves so many aspects...mental and physical and he seemed to not care about anything else as I left his office in tears! Looking for a new Rheu...

I brought my mom in to a script but it wasn’t available. After more than an hour of delay and excused, she finally got the script. Dr. Olson was out of town and Heather, his nurse, was “in a meeting” and unavailable. My mom is considering a new doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Olson for many years. He is very kind and listens to what I have to say about my health concerns. He also checks into other medical issues from the information I give him and tests he runs. Dr. Olson got me into a kidney doctor when tests results were not what they should be. My husband and I appreciate the excellent care we receive from Dr. Olson.

He is the best

I'm in the medical field as well, and Dr. Olson exemplifies how I strive to be for my own clients/patients. He is knowledgeable, caring, and empathetic. He patiently answers my numerous questions and takes my concerns seriously. He is up-to-date on new developments in his field and always provides me with pertinent information on my condition. His nursing staff is extraordinary as well, and I can't imagine getting through the past six months since my diagnosis without this team of professionals.
