Dr. Naftalis changed my life with surgery! He ended My sciatic pain. I will be forever grateful

About 11 years ago I had a lymph node removed from the side of my neck by another surgeon. After the surgery I wasn't able to lift my arm any higher than my shoulder. Evidently she cut the nerve that enables full motion of my left arm. After 1 year of poking and shocking by several neurologists AND physical therapy I was still unable to lift my arm above my shoulder. Dr. Naftalis met with me and was able to diagnose the exact cause. THEN he performed surgery on my neck. It worked! I can't thank him enough for his careful work and pleasant demeanor. Keep in mind that he had to find both ends of a severed nerve about the size of a human hair and then stick it back together. So, he fixed it and I feel lucky to have him for my surgeon. My primary doctor recommended Dr. Naftalis for my worsening cervical spine problems. He is thorough, no nonsense, and has a dry sense of humor which I appreciated. I had many questions and he answered them all, using my spine images for illustration. The surgical team he uses is top notch--his PA Candice is awesome! My surgery went perfectly and my neck problems and the numbness in my hands are gone. I would recommend Dr. Naftalis to anyone needing spine surgery. Btw, he is a neurosurgeon, not a neurologist--you go to him for confirmation that you need surgery and for the surgery itself.

Dr Naftslis and staff coordinator Méris refused me treatment or an appointment or any help with my condition. Per Meris, the doctor will only assist if he can do surgery. Per Meris the doctor did not think I needed surgery, so he could not assist in any way.

Dr. Naftalis is honest, doesn’t mince words, gives honest feedback and gets the job done. I am very pleased with his work. I would recommend him.

Dr. Naftalis had me scheduled for spinal surgery immediately without explaining the surgery, he was an arrogant %$#&. I got a 2nd opinion and the 2nd neurosurgeon also thought I might need surgery, however he sent me to physical therapy first - that fixed the problem. Brilliant. What they don't tell you is that PT can fix many issues if you do the work. If you don't work at it, you will need surgery. Naftalis is very arrogant, wouldn't answer questions. After years of suffering , Dr.Neftalis found the problem and I was out of pain after I came out of surgery . I highly recommend him .

Dr. Naftalis was cordial, explained what the surgery required, allowed me to ask questions. I’m comfortable w/his care.

He was very nice and thorough. I liked him very much.

A delicate genius? An arrogant arse. Had me scheduled for spinal surgery, i thought he was extremely arrogant so got a 2nd opinion. The 2nd neurosurgeon also thought i would need surgery but sent me to Physical Therapy first. Smart man, that fixed it. What they don't tell you is that physical therapy can cure many things, but most people don't put the work into it so you will require surgery and if its spinal surgery that could change your life. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Naftalis.

He may not have a sense of humor but he get the jobs done. He saved my husband. He's able to walk again.Highly recommended
