Dr. Montgomery did extremely invasive cancer surgery on me. Great doctor, listens to patients, and after 9 weeks in ICU, I do recommend him!

I cannot say enough about Dr Montgomery. He made a very stressful situation bearable and helped me through in a supportive and comforting fashion. He spent the extra time needed to help me and my family understand the diagnosis and my options. His explanations were in everyday terms using examples my family and I could understand. His honesty made me feel safe and secure when I decided to proceed. The surgery went unbelievably well and I was out of the hospital and feeling nearly back to normal in only a few days. Dr Montgomery was always available and extremely kind and supportive of not only me but my husband and children as well. The nursing staff seemed to adore him and everyone else at St Joseph held him in the highest regard. Nurses regularly told me he was the surgeon they would use if they or their family ever needed one. So happy I asked for him. It was such a nice experience to have a doctor make me feel like he cared about me as a person.

Dr. Montgomery was very nice and thorough with his explanation on pre and post surgery as well as the surgery itself.

Dr. Montgomery is the kindest, most attentive, and helpful Doctor I've ever had the good fortune to see. He was quick to answer any and all of my questions, concerns, and he was extremely knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good about him and highly recommend him!

Wonderful bedside manner. Very knowledgeable. Had a way of explaining thing so we could understand without talking down to us. Really cared about mom and did everything he could to help her and us through the whole process. Loved him. Definitely going to use him again in our family.

Dr. Montgomery is very involved in the entire process. Very personable and easy to work with. He did numerous tests to try and avoid invasive surgery and explained everything he was doing fully. After surgery he checked on me every day in addition to the resident doctor's checkup. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful bedside. Took great care of mom. Answered every question. Really cared about her on her situation.
