I made an appointment with Dr. McGraw at least 2 months in advance. I have NY based insurance but no longer live there, so I was coming in from Colorado (yes I have to travel for health care, but that is a whole other issue). 2 days before leaving for NY, my appointment was cancelled because "he will be on vacation" What??? Who cancels a patient's appointment less than a week out (and made well in advance) to go on vacation? I was told "well he has the right to vacation". Unprofessional.

Just saw him this week and have to say he was extremely thorough in his examination and I was impressed that he didn't try to sell me physical therapy even though his office is part of a physical therapy center. I can't say he solved my problem as he recommended chiropractic to get a condition under control. Hopefully it will soon be better.
