Dr. Richard Scott Lee

Dr. Lee tried to switch me from a medication I had taken for sometime to treat RLS, to a new one. The new medicine is not effective at all, so I called and left a message. They didn’t return the call I had to call them to find out he had put in another new RX. Day one and my symptoms as as bad as if nothing was being treated. Another call and another assurance I would receive a call. A second call to them a couple of hours before the clinic was to close. Again more assurances and a tidbit that the new medication wouldn’t be effective right away. So essentially he has left me unmediated. Two nights without sleep pacing the floor

he interrupts me when i talk and tells me that i'm not listening when the problem is that he doesn't listen! there's a lot of bad reviews about him at ratemds. don't go to him. very rude. tried to tell me i had a disease i didn't have before he even talked to me or examined me.

friendly yet very professional staff. They took their time to answer all my questions and concerns. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Dr. Lee and Christine are awesome. Thankfully he got rid of the receptionist who made me not want to see him. I would highly recommend Dr. Lee.

Dr. Lee is a brilliant physician and very good person. He really knows his stuff. I have total trust in him to handle all things neurological.

Not at all comfortable with this doctor or his staff. They seemed more robotic and going through the motions as to get you out of their hair. Doctor was pre disposed to reaching a diagnosis before even examining me. His discussion was more an interrogation and was quick to interrupt me several times as he was more interested in getting me out of his way rather than demonstrating genuine interest in what I had to say.

I recently went to Dr. Lee when my doctor told me I needed to see a Neurologist for my back pain and numbness in my feet. My doctor sent a referral to his office and his staff contacted me within hours to schedule my appointment. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with respect and kindness by a staff that was obviously focused on my illness and showed me they realized how important my time was to me. I was brought back to the exam room in under 10 minutes and very shortly after the assistant came in and asked me a few short questions about why I was there, Dr. Lee came in the room and began his consultation almost immediately. He was the nicest, most considerate and compassionate doctor I had ever been to and I would recomend him to any one of my family or friends. I wish more doctors were like Dr. Lee and had a staff that was as patient, caring and respectful. Thank you to you all at Neurological Associates of NV!!!

Dr. Lee is awesome but his office staff is horrible! I called with an emergency and got yelled at by the woman on the phone. My pharmacist called and was yelled at and hung up on.

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT DR.LEE IS AWESOME! HE WAS ALWAYS VERY NICE AND CARING TO ME AS HIS PATIENT. THE REASON FOR MY BAD REVIEW WAS NOT ON BEHALF OF DR.LEE HIMSELF BUT MORE ABOUT THE STAFF HE HAS WORKING FOR HIM!! I HAD A FOLLOW UP WITH DR THINKING IT WAS SCHEDULED FOR 8:30AM WHEN ACCORDING TO HIS FRONT DESK GIRL/'MANAGER' WAS AT 8:00AM. SO, HERE I AM SIGNED IN TELLING HER I HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. LEE AND HER RESPONSE TO ME AS UNPROFESSIONAL AS SHE IS WAS...'WOW, OH WOW!' YOUR APPOINTMENT WAS AT 8:00AM' BY THE WAY, I WAS THE ONLY ONE SIGNED IN AT THIS POINT HIS FIRST APPOINTMENT OF DAY. I ALSO WORK IN THE MEDICAL FIELD AT WOULD THAT HAVE BEEN ME MY RESPONSE TO MY DR.'S PATIENT WOULD DEFINITELY WOULD NOT BE 'WOW, OH WOW!' BUT MORE LIKE. OKAY, LOOKS LIKE YOUR APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED FOR 8:00AM BUT LET ME JUST CHECK WITH THE DR RATHER THEN JUST TAKE IT UPON MY SELF TO MAKE HIS DECISION IF HE WANTS TO STILL SEE THE PATIENT OR NOT. NOW, THIS WAS NOT MY FIRST VISIT. IT WAS JUST A FOLLOW UP WHICH IN THE PAST HAD ONLY TAKEN ABOUT 15 MINUTES OR SO NOT TO MUCH OF DR TIME AT ALL. WELL I WAS NOT SEEN THAT DAY OR OFFERED TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT ALL I GOT WAS A 'WOW, OH WOW!' SEVERAL TIMES. SO, I SCRATCHED OUT MY MY NAME ON THE SIGN IN SHEET AND WALKED OUT. COME TO FIND OUT I RECEIVE A BILL FOR $50 DOLLARS!!! TO MY SURPRISE FOR A MISSED APPOINTMENT. REALLY?? I SHOWED UP FOR THIS APPOINTMENT AND WAS NOT SEEN AND YET ACCORDING TO HIS 'MANAGER' I MISSED MY APPOINTMENT! SO, I CALL THE OFFICE TO SPEAK WITH BILLING AND WHO DO I GET ON THE PHONE THE SAME UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE FRONT DESK GIRL. FIRST, SHE NEVER EVEN ASKED ME FOR MY NAME OR ACCOUNT NUMBER. ALL I SAID WAS THAT I HAD RECEIVED A BILL FOR A MISSED APPOINTMENT THEY MAY HAVE CALLER I.D OR SOMETHING BECAUSE SHE KNEW EXACTLY WHO I WAS SHE THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT YES, I HAD MISSED THE APPOINTMENT BECAUSE I WAS LATE. WE THEN SOME MORE EXCHANGE OF WORDS AND ASKED HER IF DR. LEE WAS AWARE OF THE SHE SPEAKS TO HIS PATIENT AND ASKED TO SPEAK WITH MANAGER AND THAT IS WHEN SHE INFORMED ME SHE WAS ALSO THE MANAGER. SO I WANTED TO SPEAK WITH DR ABOUT MY SITUATION AND ALSO TO INFORM HIM OF WHAT WAS GOING ON AND HOW HIS PRACTICE WAS BEING RUN. I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD NOT SEE DR.LEE UNLESS MY BILL WAS PAID FOR THE APPOINTMENT THAT I SHOWED FOR BUT SHE CONSIDERED MISSED. AT THIS POINT I WAS ALREADY FUMING AS I'M SURE ANYONE WOULD BE AND TO TOP THINGS OFF WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD ALSO BE DISMISSED FROM HIS PRACTICE.I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO THIS PRACTICE NOR WOULD I EVER RECOMMEND ANY FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIENDS!!NOT BECAUSE OF DR.LEE HIMSELF HE IS A VERY NICE AND SWEET DR AND SEEMS TO CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENT'S. BUT MORE SO BECAUSE OF HIS VERY RUDE STAFF.**DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DEALING WITH VERY ILL MANNERED STAFF! **

My visit with Dr. Lee was everything that you hope for a doctor visit to be but never is. The staff was easy-going and friendly, even through the less-than-comfortable testing that I was having. Dr. Lee was very friendly and thorough and explained to me what the results of the test were in language that I could actually understand. I would recommend Dr. Lee to anyone who needs to see a neurologist.
