Dr. Richard Harris Frankel

The overall experience was very confusing and his analysis of my pain was so unhelpful. I have never experienced a doctor with such a lack of trying to help me understand my foot problems. He also wasn’t thorough . He never asked me to stand up or walk to see how my feet were operating. Just an X-ray, which his attendant didn’t bother to redo when I pointed out my foot was bunched up not flat. I write this so others will not waste their time and money seeing him.

I was very concerned about a zig zag type blood clot under my big toenail. I don’t remember banging it but when I saw it went to dermatologist who thought it could be cancerous and wanted to drill into bottom of nail, take samples...lab tests...etc. I said I wanted a second opinion and went to Dr. Frankel’s and was def terrified by the possibility of cancer. Dr. Frankel took one look, smiled and within seconds told me It was not cancer. He (painlessly) took a bit of dried blood from under nail more to ease my concern than his. He is a wonderful doctor, and could not recommend him More highly. If there were more stars I would give him more than 5.

My first appointment I was so impressed with Dr. Frankel’s down to earth way of approaching solving foot problems which don’t necessarily include surgery. He spent time explaining and listening and I feel comfortable establishing a Dr/Patient relationship.
