I've been going there for years, great doctor and very knowledgeable!

I have a long list of immune issues, diabetic and so forth. I have gone to this doctor for help and at first he seemed scared or overwhelmed to even treat me at all. I tried him again the second visit was somewhat fair as he somewhat expressed some concern and even sent me out to test for symptoms I was having. This last visit today he had notes from another doctor that I had previously dismissed and it was his only concern. As if he can't form a thought of his own and was only repeating what this other doctor stated. Never once asked why I fired that doctor and only saw him once but stood firm with the response. Never asking me if I still continued to have any of my issues. I need someone willing to help my actual problems not one repeating the garbage of another. Still can't swallow, parts of my body are numb and not functional but maybe it's just all my imagination - wouldn't recommend. I have a long list of immune issues, diabetic and so forth. Very good and very attentive the staff wonderful.

Dr Bymaster is one of the most caring and involved physician. Dr Bymaster just doesn’t come into the room and tells you what you need. This doctor actually cares wants to hear and understand the issues at hand. He takes the time to make sure your comfortable with your diagnosis and treatment plan. He makes a promise to be by your side and helps every step of your treatment. If you need a doctor with old school values and really looks at you as a person and not just a dollar sign you should schedule an appointment. My two sons and I have been going to Dr. Richard Bymaster for many years. He is one of the most talented Internal Medicine Doctors in the state of Florida. He is always willing to take time with his patients, to understand their health concerns. The way he treats you lets you know he genuinely cares about you as a person, not just another patient. He is very knowledgeable and personable with his patients. He will take his time on answering all your concerns and questions. He is truly a doctor who I would recommend, if I did not think very highly of him, I would not have ever recommended him to my two sons. Dr Bymaster has been my doctor for a long time. I am pleased with his professionalism, beside manner and genuine concern for my well being. The staff at my clinic is excellent too. I've been seeing Dr. Bymaster for the past 7 years as my general doctor. Good advisor, provides a thorough doctor's visit, makes the patient feel comfortable, and very personable. Responsive to requests for prescription refills and quick return phone calls should I have a medical question. Dr. Bymaster is exactly what I am looking for in a GP......highly recommended!

Dr. Bymaster is a kind and understanding doctor. He has managed my health care for many years. He is very knowledgeable and really listens to his patients. I wouldn’t look to anyone else for my medical care!

I count myself lucky to be a patient of Dr. Bymaster. I wandered through the health care field searching for a diagnosis for a malady that plagued me for over 15 years. My symptoms eluded general practitioners and specialists alike until I followed the advice of my dentist, who referred me to his primary care doctor, Richard Bymaster. On my very first visit, Dr. Bymaster diagnosed and began treating my problem which finally had a name and a cure. Needless to say, I and my husband have been grateful patients ever since. We went last week for our wellness visit, and Dr. Bymaster clarified our various issues, prescribed treatments, and comforted us in a way most doctors have forgotten. I recommend him to my friends and relatives, and to you too.

Dr. Bymaster has been our primary care doctor for many years. He is very smart, engaged and empathetic. You can trust him to care about you and to give good diagnosis of your issues.

Dr Bymaster take his time, answers questions and is very caring.

The last 3 times I have an appt I have waited over an hour to be seen. I was scheduled with the PA since Dr Bymaster didn’t have any appointments and I waited an hour and a half but never did see anyone. The staff was not only rude they had no sense of urgency. I will not be going back because it is obvious they don’t care /respect my time. Interesting that a dr. Came in for an appointment and they were tripping over each other to get him back since he had to go back to work! When I asked them why he went before everyone else the response was he had to get back to his office! Really?? Excellent primary. People are quick to write negative reviews about Physicians. He is is one of those rare Dr.s that actually listens and probably saved my father's life. He's his primary as well. Having a little bit of a medical background He's by far the best primary I have had the good fortune to come across since moving back to the area. Chose Dr. Bymaster in January 2017 because my doctor retired. Dr. Bymaster is caring and thorough. His office is very well organized. I've never waited more than 5 minutes. Additionally, they have their onsite lab for blood testing where they can take your blood and send it out to whatever lab your insurance company requires. I like that better than going to the lab locations. Have been referred to others in the Florida Medical Group and been very satisfied. Dr. Bymaster has helped me to lower my triglycerides and helped me to get much healthier. The staff is all friendly and very helpful. Thank you for all you guys do.

Dr. Bymaster is an excellent physician. He's knowledgeable (as should be expected,) but he's also kind, he's direct and he's inquisitive. That last part is what impresses me the most about this doctor. He never gives me the impression he's already figured something out, but instead asks questions and involves you in his plan of action for your care. Dr. Bymaster is open to trying new solutions, and his staff has always been prompt at following up with phone calls, prescription requests and insurance authorizations. Dr. Bymaster has excellent bedside manner. He listens and gives proactive advice. He seems to really care and is very easy to talk to. I am comfortable asking questions. He takes time to answer my concerns. Every appointment so far has been a positive experience. I was referred by a friend and have referred others.

I was forced to use this Doctor when my OTHER primary care physician quit her job at the Florida medical clinic. Dr Bymaster made me wait 45 minutes and when another patient who I overheard say...I have an 11 am appointment was seen first..I left as mine was scheduled for 10:30 am. Don't bother with this guy...he could care less.. Also don't bother with Florida Medical Clinic.....they could care less about YOU as well....go elsewhere. as you are not important here.

First visit after moving to Tampa from St. Augustine area. Dr. R. Bymaster was referred to me by my Health Insurance Co. I was expecting someone with compassion and understanding of my medical condition. NOT!

After living in Florida for 38 years, Dr, Bymaster and his staff are amazing.

He takes his time with each patient. He is easy to talk to and a very caring doctor.
