Richard Aranibar

This doctor kept my husband alive over 15 years. If it hadn’t been for his excellent care, he would have died much sooner. He had 95 treatments of radiation from three different cancers, throat cancer stage 4, prostate cancer and finally toward the very end, lung cancer in both his lungs. (Stage 4). At this point he needed chemo. Last resort. The chemo finally killed him. Nobody gave him better care than Dr. Aranibar. He took the time to help me get through all the low points when he was sick and kept me going. I will never be able to thank him enough for his kindness, understanding and love that he gave to both of us. He even called me at home sometimes. He was the best!!!! Nobody has ever held such high esteem in my eyes as him. He cares about his patients. Jean Marie Sucro.

Dr Aranibar was attentive,took time to explain

BEEN TRYING FOR 2 FULL DAYS TO MAKE AN APPT...PHONE RINGS PUTS U ON HOLD AND NO ONE EVER ANSWERS. NOT VERY GOOD FOR A NEW PT TRYING TO SCHEDULE AN APPT. CALLED EVEN MY DOCTORS OFFICE AND THEY COULDN'T GET THRU. THEY GAVE UP. SO AM I. LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT DOCTOR. IM DONE.....

I would NOT recommend Dr. Aranibar to anyone in need of a critical care Pulmonary Dr. He was very arrogant and cold when treating my husband in the ICU. He never came to see him while I was with my husband for the month he was in ICU during the hours I was there. He offered no solutions when I did finally speak to him after calling a meeting. He was very unprofessional. He had nothing with him at the meeting and basically told me he has no hope and I shouldn’t either. He told me I should just give up. I would never want any other family members or friends to be under his care. I felt like he gave up on him early on and didn’t help in any way when I wanted him transferred somewhere else that could possibly help.

Completely ineffective, did nothing to improve my lung function, didn't offer breathing techniques, exercises. I have another doctor who prescribed a medicine that actually helped.

He is an amazing doctor,through,informative and knows sarcoidosis inside and out

Dr. Aranabar, Pulmonologist is professional, competent and compassionate. He is genuine and explains your situation in an easily understood manner. You can depend on his expertise and easy going manner to provide you with the best care. His nurse/assistant, Kelly is also exceptional. She is excellent at putting patients at ease, carefully listening to patient’s concerns, solving medical systems challenges, and providing expert support services for Dr. Aranabar. We highly recommend their services at Intercoastal Medical.

Dr. Aranibar's negligence almost killed me. Huge ego, poor listening skills, little knowledge and he left me for dead. I wouldn't be alive today if I didn't leave his care and get a better doctor.

My husband and I were very pleased with Dr Aranibar. Very pleasant and listened carefully to his issues.

If I could give Dr Aranibar a 10 I would. I have been a patient of his since 1998 and would NOT go to any other pulmonologist. I have sarcoidosis, pulmonary hypertension and a number of other autoimmune diseases/disorders and hge has been there for not only me but also my family all these years. He is knowlegable, compassionate and always puts the patient first. He has gone out of his, way to assist me with disability and has worked along side all my other physicians to ensure I am getting the best possible care. Truly exceptional Doctor extremely pleased with patient care of my 95 year old mother

I was referred to this dr. because I needed a sleep apnea test. He saw me for max. 5 min after nurse gave me a questioner and he looked at my answers maybe for 5 sec. and said I need to go to pick up the machine from another clinic. Per my insurance he charged me for a full consultation 45 minutes +, and because I did’t met my insurance out of packet at the time, I got a bill of $195 to pay out of packet !!! for 5 min in his office, and no real consultation, and no follow up, because I didn’t have sleep apnea per test results. I tried to fight this bill, and they just reduced with $50 saying they can’t do anything else. So I paid $145 for this “consultation” I was very mad because I felt like It was a rip of, or a fraud. Yesterday, we met with Dr. Aranibar regarding my husband's sleep apnea. We found Dr. Aranibar and his nurse to be very thorough and informative. He listened to the medical history and made sound recommendations.

Dr. Aranibar is an outstanding pulmonary physician. He listens and interacts with me during our visits. I highly recommend Dr. Aranibar. He is caring, sincere and witty.

Yesterday,we met with Dr. Aranibar regarding my husband's sleep apnea. We found Dr. Aranibar and his nurse to be very thorough and informative. Dr. Aranibar made very good recommendations.

Extremely rude

Worst lung doctor ever! Never has any answers and never provides options to help. Just looks at you and says "I don't know...."Can't even recommend someone else to see who might be able to help. Mu husband has COPD and this Dr. is clueless!

If you have a serious pulmonary disease, find another doctor. Or better yet, if you are being treated by this doctor, ASK him or his nurses how many other patients he has treated with the same disease, then request your records and change specialists.

Dr. Aranibar is the best. He was my husband’s doctor for many many years and even went from one hospital to another to take care of him. He always returned my phones calls even when he was not working. He is the most caring, compassionate and knowledgeable doctor I have ever met. If it hadn’t been for Dr. Aranibar, my husband would have passed away a lot sooner. There is no Doctor that can even compete with his knowledge and wonderful bed manner. I was lucky to have him.

His bedside manner and knowledge are horrific. I wouldn't trust him to make any sort of competent decision. His ego was exhausting and made it impossible to get my needs met. He was also extremely late.

Is not a Specialist in the true sense, as he is not knowledgeable of extremely serious pulmonary diseases nor does he take advise from other physicians at Intercoastal Medical Group with expanding his knowledge of current trends, programs, and other medical services offered for treatment of serious pulmonary diseases. And don't count on him to complete any paperwork you may need completed in a timely fashion.

In my wife's recent brush with death due a lung ailment, Dr. Aranibar, our personal physician and specialist pulmonologist, completely failed us both in addressing the problem, recommending appropriate action and simply following up on the case. He seemed bewildered, over his head and indecisive. Fortunately, others stepped in to make the decisions to save my wife's life. Dr. Aranibar is a "nice" guy but I would never recommend him as a pulmonologist for any serious health condition.

Dr Aranibar is a very professional & caring Dr. I am very happy with him he saved my life his nurse is very helpful ,caring the staff is awesome

This mans ego and lack of respect for patients diminishes any potential good. I haven't seen his knowledge Bc I was too busy managing his fragile ego.
