He was unprofessional, highly offensive, and cursed at my staff. We simply asked for a signature we needed for a medical paper and he questioned why we needed it. Then he yelled that we were questioning him and his care. We just needed his signature on a medical form. I have never seen a doctor respond like that. He finally said he would sign it and then leave him alone. Fine-we will leave him alone and find a new Dr too.

Not only did I see Dr. Andrews for several years, he was part of the reason that moving from Nebraska to Colorado was difficult. Thankfully, because I fully trust him, his reference to Dr. Edward Maa at Denver Health made that move easier. Dr. Andrews also made it a point for me to have access to him when I was 3 hours from his office he brought his office to me and also got me through my first brain surgery via Dr. Patel which led to a Vagus Nerve Stimulator later on. If you cancel 3 times they won't let you make an appointment. Never mind that it's a three hour drive in winter and a disabled person. You can't make an appointment.

After being treated by five other neurologists over 12 years, he was the first to prescribe a medicine that controlled my seizures 100%. Each appointment lasts about 30-40 minutes which is way longer than most physicians. He also charges less than most specialist I’ve seen (which has been a lot). He has a unique sense of humor which I appreciate. I highly recommend him.

Dr Andrews was a breath of fresh air after our experience with Children's neuros. He takes his time listening to my son and trying to find the best solutions without simply throwing meds at the problem hoping it helps.

EXCELLENT doctor. Out of all the doctors I have seen, I have always been happy with Andrews the most. He pays attention to his patient and that is his only concern. He doesn't hide nothing he tells you the truth weather it be good or bad. I have been with him for over 20 years and its because of him that I am still here today.

Dr. Andrews does not listen to the patient. He sits across the room and won't let you speak and tell him about your symptoms. He thinks he knows what is wrong with you without you telling him. He prescribed a medication for me to take at bedtime (I suffer from severe vertigo). I did, and shortly after I took it I suffered convulsion-like symptoms. My body jerked and I was out of control and so dizzy I fainted. I called the next day and asked to speak with him about this and his nurse/receptionist told me that he doesn't take phone calls. When I asked if he could call me about this issue she said it was probably not going to happen. He never called me back. Do not go to him.

We started seeing Dr Andrews when my daughter was having uncontrollable seizures. The first thing he said to me was that we will stop these seizures and improve her behavior and learning. We live 6 hours from his office and he has worked well with us doing Skype calls and having a team come to our home for 3 days to do an EEG. He’s very educated about medications and the effects they have. After a year of working with him I am happy to say my daughter is doing awesome..just like he promised me!

Dr. Andrew's spent over an hour educating us and helping us with our 7 month old infant son. He was honest and to the point! Thank you Dr. Andrew's for giving us the education, support and most importantly listening to our concerns for our son. It's hard to find providers that will listen to your concerns and help you put plans in place to help families struggling with special needs kiddos.

I have been seeing Dr. Andrews for years. He is well-educated not only about epilepsy but on almost every subject there is. I can get his advice about other health topics that I have also. He spends a lot of time with me, he never acts rushed. He takes the time to explain things in a way that you will fully understand. You don't leave his office thinking oh no I forgot to ask about this because Dr. Andrews already told you about it. I would recommend him to family and friends!

He was involved from day one.and his Nurse practitioner was extremely knowledgable as well. With both, I always felt better after they left.

I have been seeing Dr. Andrews for years and both him and his staff are the most extremely helpful I have had the pleasure of having. They have worked with me and now my Son to accommodate our schedules when needed and went out of their way to help. Thanks Dr. Andrews, Patti and the rest of the staff!!!

I was recommended to Dr. Andrews after the Neurologists in Lincoln could not get my grand mal and black out seizures under control. I was warned he had a quirky personality but I was diagnosed, meds changed and have not had a seizure since. I have been going to him every 6 months for 7 years now. He now comes to Lincoln so I don't have to travel and he takes his time at my appointments to make sure everything is ok. Just be prepared to wait because he does take his time with every patient.

This man is a loonatic. I am not exaggerating! He is listed as pediatric, but it was all geriatric patients when we were there. He was recommended to us for a second opinion for our child that has a very serious disease that causes brain damage. His experties after 10 minutes with us, was to remove all life saving meds and see what happened. That my friends would of killed our child. This man may be great if you need just psychiatric care, but not for a true neurological issue.

Terrible experience with Dr. Andrews. My 84 year old father had a stroke and was his patient. He is arrogant, rude and rolled his eyes when family members had a question.
