Dr. Rich Hirschinger

I cannot recommend Dr. Hirschinger highly enough. After more than a year of living with intense pain in my neck and jaw, he treated me. I have been pain free for nearly a year now, something I never imagined possible. He is knowledgable, patient and caring. I am so grateful to him.

I've been suffering with jaw pain on and off for about 6 years. A specialist about 2 years ago offered mild relief but the pain returned. This time even worse. Dr. Hirschinger came highly recommended from my periodontist as, "this is the guy to see". She was right. Dr. Hirschinger spent almost 2 hours with me. His Gentle Jaw is a miracle and his follow up is superb. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you have jaw pain, "this is the guy to see".

After falling and striking my jaw, my bite was out of alignment, so I couldn't chew. In around 15 minutes, after a bunch of opening/closing for measurements then some directed stretching, Dr. Hirschinger had my bite lining up! A simple at-home stretch had me back to normal within a couple of days. After making me better, Dr. Hirschinger educated me with photos of jaw musculature to explain what he had done. Amazing and greatly appreciated!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Hirschinger. I highly recommend meeting with him. He is a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor who helped me a lot. I have been having a lot of TMJ pain lately and I started looking into TMJ specialists. I've been to chiropractors, ENTs, and physical therapists before, but never a specialist. I was first impressed by how thorough the new patient form was. When I went in for an appointment, I felt that he understood my problems more than anyone else I've seen. He taught me a lot about the problems I was having and potential options for me. I was really happy with the advice. I really felt that he cared about me and that was his biggest priority, not making money. He gave me all of the options and thoroughly explained pricing so I could make the best decision for me. Something big that I was not aware of before is, despite being diagnosed with "TMJD" by multiple doctors, my joint was actually perfectly fine. Instead, I have a muscle problem where the muscles in my face are clenched too tight and cause a lot of pain. The treatments he gave me have helped me with my symptoms so much, it is incredible. If you have "TMJ", head pain, neck pain, etc. you should DEFINITELY consider going to Dr. Hirschinger. I trust him completely when it comes to my head pain problems. As a health care professional myself, I know the importance of a thorough intake, physical examination, diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr. Hirschinger goes above and beyond in all of these areas. In a time when I was truly in severe pain, his knowledge, kindness and gentle nature were exceptional.
