Dr. Rene Anthony Amaya

Dr. Amaya is by far one of the best doctors if not one of the best human beings I have had the enjoyment of meeting. I had a pilonidal cyst in which I had surgery in March of 2019. The wound opened about a week or two after surgery and it never would heal. So after a year and half of this wound remaining open and after numerous doctors appointments, I decided to see what other options I had out there. I had found Dr. Amaya’s website and thankfully, I was able to get in to see him. After only 6 weeks, my cyst is healed. Not only does he care about his patients, he went above and beyond to ensure I was given all the answers that were possible during my treatment. If you are ever lucky enough to have him as your doctor you will not be disappointed. Truly cannot say enough good things about this doctor. Thank you again Dr. Amaya!!

My son was involved in an accident and got stuck between a bed and a treadmill when his cousin turned it on. He was stuck for roughly 2 minutes and couldn’t get out. Our pediatrician referred us immediately to Dr. Amaya. He looked at the wounds and after trying to treat the less severe wound in the office he realized how traumatic the experience was for my son and immediately stopped and suggested we go into the hospital. He was awesome and did the debridement three times. My son is healed!

Dr. Amaya has helped us several times with our son and his injuries. My son has very "thin" skin from the heart medicines he is on and requires long term care when an injury occurs. Glad we started using him whenever our son needs him.

Dr. Amaya has been treating my premature son's infiltrated picc line wound. He has done an amazing job so far with taking care of my son's wound and addressing our needs. He is precise and great at his craft. He is the first Dr where I feel like he truly cares and understands our concerns. He is a blessing! It is obvious that he loves our babies and loves his profession!
