Dr. O assessed my daughter for tethered cord. She was through and kind. She listened to me and acknowledged any and all of my concerns. I felt very at ease with a conservative plan to watch and wait. Highly recommend!!

She saved my son's life at Loma Linda hospital. He was born with a brain tumor that doctors didn't find til he was 3 months old and the tumor was bigger then a baseball. 2 surgery to remove the tumor and 2 surgery for his vp shunt. He's now 18.

Dr. Osterdock took me on as a patient when I saw her at Loma Linda Hospital 13 years ago. Back then, VNS was being experimented with for depression. It was a last ditch treatment for me since no medication or therapy worked, and I had tried all classes of meds and all therapies. There was nothing left to try. Dr Osterdock is AMAZING! She did my sons Craniosynostosis surgery and turned out fantastic. She was knowledgeable, explained the process clearly and offered reassurance where necessary. I would highly recommend!

Dr. Osterdock is my daughter's neurosurgeon, she so far has performed two surgeries on my daughter for treatment of hydrocephalus. At first I didn't think she and I were going to get along, but the more time we have spent with her the more we love her. She is a mother herself which I think adds another layer of care and compassion that she has for her patients and their very needy anxious mothers (like myself). She is nearly always available when you are having concerns and living 6 hours away she is very good at triaging over phone or facetime and getting you in in person when necessary. We would recommend her for anyone who has a child in need of neurosurgical services, you will not be disappointed.

I saw Dr. Osterdock 13 years ago, Loma Linda Neurology department, for VNS surgery for depression. It was experimental at the time. Dr. Osterdock had her reservations about using VNS for depression, but she took a chance on me anyway when I had no meds or therapies left to try. It worked. I'm very grateful to the Doctor for her faith in me and for giving the treatment a try.

So grateful for her knowledge and skill with my 18 mo old.

Doc is ahead of the game in sagittal craniosynostosis correction! Very happy.

She has no knowledge of chiari or tethered cord. Please DO NOT GO TO HER IF YOU HAVE CHIARI

She has been taking care of our son since birth. He has had a lot of close calls and difficult symptoms. Dr Osterdock has been a great support and solid rock in our world with our son.

AMAZING! She operated on my son who had tethered cord at 2 levels, and a sacral cyst. Dr. Osterdock is brilliant but is also so down to earth, explaining things so that we could fully understand. She is very meticulous in the operating room and the nurses in the operating & recovery rooms all respect her because of her work ethic and knowledge. I had full confidence in her skills as we waited for my son's surgery to be over. Follow-up was great too. I have worked as an OT for over 30 years and she is a neurosurgeon that I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend! AMAZING! Dr. Osterdock flat out, saved my child's life and we will forever be grateful. Our 2 year old daughter came down with a fever in 2011 and within 3 days was fighting for her life due to 3 brain abscesses we believed were caused by dirty swimming pool water. Dr. Osterdock performed emergency surgery on her 3 days before her 3rd birthday. She went home with i.v. antibiotics for 4 months and is now a smart, loving, athletic 7 year old in 2nd grade that is testing at a 4th grade level.
