Dr. Rebecca Pruthi

I have been with Dr. Pruthi for several years. Dr. Pruthi is always professional and compassionate. She is good at building trust with patients. Office staff is good too.

I been having major foot issues since a post Liz Franc fracture/ break within my foot. I deal with major arthritis and foot pain due to it. I come to Foot Care of Manhattan to see Dr Pruthi for physical therapy and treatment to help deal with this. She uses different methods of therapy, hydrotherapy, Eletric stimulation with cold compress and also ultrasound. She has been a life saver for me since I am able to be more weight bearing and mobile on my feet. Many times I walk in with a cane and leave without having to use it. After dealing with other podiatrists during these painful years, I can say with confidence, she is the best in this field. Her office is immaculate and the care from her staff and her are levels above the usual. I drive into the city from Westchester because of it.

Dr. Pruthi is attentive and caring. She listens and explained my condition to me. I'm happy she was able to help me.

This is one of the worst doctors I have ever seen, and in the last 2 years I have seen lots and lots of doctors for various health reasons. She kept repeating the same thing over and over even when I stated more than once, 'that does not apply to me'. I don't think she was even listening or she would have stopped saying, 'Pedicures can be a reason of the problem' after I said 3 (three) times I do no go to salons to have pedicures done. Or...she would not tell me to keep a diary of what I do to find patterns that may be the cause of the issue when I had just explained to her how good I am at finding patterns causing health issues and I did not find any causing this problem. I said, 'I even tried to find patterns associated with what I eat and found none. After five minutes she says, 'Try to see if thee is a correlation with what you eat'. I can say more but I think I made my point. This person does NOT listen to the patient! She offered a number of possible causes for one of the issues presented and when I stated none of those apply to my case, she just repeated them again. When I said AGAIN, those do not apply to me, can we think of other less common reasons she had no answer, other than repeating herself one more time. She offered no real substantial solution to any of the issues that I brought to her and unfortunately for her, my visit was 'a second opinion' which means I already have answers from another doctor. That means I can state with educated confidence that she is a very poor doctor.

Dr. Pruthi has been super attentive to my needs and medical complaints. She is both bright and personable.

I love coming to see Dr Pruthi, she’s so thorough give me a bunch of exercises to help with my foot pain and the staff here is always so friendly! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Pruthi and her staff were very pleasant to work with while dealing with a very complicated problem with my feet that I have had to live with for years. While the process took longer than I would have liked, I actually really enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them. Dr. Pruthi gave me her full and undivided attention every appointment, I never had a problem with wait time, and when it was all said and done, she fixed a problem no one else could have fixed without surgery! I thank her for not having to put me through that and for never rushing me and always listening to my problems and concerns. They were overall pretty good with billing plans, ZocDoc is a little misleading because it has the section that says in-network plans and then lists insurance companies including mine (but that was my mistake because above that it said that she works out of network). However they were able to accommodate for a very long time. At the start of this year I got new insurance with a higher deductible so unfortunately I cannot afford to continue treatment, but they gave everything they could to me and I am forever thankful for this experience because..... Dr. Rebecca Pruthi is a warm and caring physician. Since I have been under her care for months now my feet have felt 100% better. Dr Eckstein is a great podiatrist and I love that they use a foot bath before the treatment - it speeds the process. They are also very friendly and clean.

Exceptional service at this office. Dr. Pruthi is very approachable and friendly with a great bedside manner. I have seen her for different ailments over the course of a few years, and can honestly say that she's my go-to doc for podiatry. The office admin is wonderful, and the office is bright and clean. Dr. Rebecca Pruthi is exactly what we all want in a healthcare provider. Dr. Pruthi is knowledgeable, compassionate, thorough, and produces amazing clinical results. My last podiatrist was not able to manage my ingrown toenail (sorry for being so graphic..but you’re reading these reviews for a reason ????)..I was frustrated because I felt it was something that any practicing podiatrist should be able to manage. I am happy he did refer me out, so he knew his limits. Dr. Pruthi was able to manage my condition, cure it, and gave me a beautiful esthetic result. I goto the beach often, wear flip flops, and I was FINALLY no longer ashamed!! I am also a dentist- so being her client puts me on the patient side of treatment. She has solved every foot and ankle problem I brought her way expeditiously and effectively. The office overall is very friendly and efficiently run. I have received the very best service with Dr. Pruthi and her warm, caring staff (special shout out to you, Queen Elizabeth). Not only did they work seamlessly with my insurance, but they have also treated me like family. My fist minimal incision bunion surgery went very smoothly, and my foot is getting better each day. The scar is barely noticeable. I’m (not so) secretly hoping my feet never get better so I can keep coming back, but I am in such good hands I know that day will sadly come. I have been going to see Dr. Pruthi for maybe 10 years. In these she has helped me with everything foot ailment you can possibly think of whether it be a wart, an arch that starts hurting for what initially seemed to no reason that also impacted my ankle, and a broken foot. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that I have a speedy recovery and she has always been flexible with accommodating my schedule. The entire staff at her office is also very nice. Normally I dread going to the doctor's office but I can say I always leave Dr. Pruthi's office a little bit happier than before my appointments.
