After laughing at us for the symptoms we listed for our son, Dr. Green assured us no child could have that many symptoms, but agreed to run lab work on our 18 month old (now 3 years ago), the results she said appeared to confirm a kidney related diabetes, but that was "so rare" that she couldn't believe the test results were true, and "his glucose was fine", even though GLUCOSE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS KIND OF DIABETES, and an endocrinologist should KNOW THAT! So she IGNORED the results and pushed us along to GI, so his vomiting and shaking and insatiable thirst were chalked up to severe reflux, which we've poorly treated with antacids for 3 years, with a failure to thrive son whose insatiable thirst is just "bad behavior". Well, guess what, it WAS that rare kidney related diabetes and here we are 3 years later, wrongly diagnosed and wrongly medicated because she should have known her stuff. NOT RECOMMENDED.
