Having eye surgery was very scary. The staff at Gulf Coast Eye were very understanding. Dr Alhabshan did an amazing job with my surgery. I was very happy with my results. He is a very thorough doctor and I would trust him with caring for my eyesight in the future.

Great improvement on customer service! Was in and out! Everyone was very nice and friendly!

It was not as I was told very pro. Quick and. Very informative a great experience ..good job to all .

What a great experience I had, not knowing what's going on or what to expect. When I left I was well informed , the staffs is no well versed in there jobs. Very very friendly, not much my waiting time. I highly recommend them for all things related to your my eyes. I rate them 10 out of 10.

I like the service, the staff,very courteous staff,due to corona virus they have to take safety measures for every patient that goes in which takes a little longer than expected. But when they get you in they deal with your problems of vision and customer/patient satisfied.

The nurses were fantastic all of them. I was very pleased with Dr. Palin he seemed very knowledgeable and pleasant I only have one big complaint about them. The wait is way too long. Dr.Cantu is very nice and courteous .

Happy with the staff but the wait is much too long.

Dr Juan A was outstanding doctor very patient explain my whole situation so I could understand. However it is a 2hr wait.

Dr McMillan has been fantastic for my mom's glaucoma and great in being proactive for mine. Will miss him as he is leaving the Center soon to practice at the VA Clinic! While quality of care has always been excellent, however the average wait time, while improving over the years, is still the worst of all the doctors, veterinarians and dentists we go to. My last visit lasted 2 and a half hours, of which I estimate only 45 minutes were actually spent in face time with doctor / staff, so 1 hour and 45 minutes were just spent sitting in waiting rooms. Why the long waits between checkin, billing, prescriptions renewal, first procedure, second procedure, doctor exam, and finally appointment scheduling? Dr. Patel has been exceptional regarding the care of my son. He is very detailed in explaining his care. The staff at the Harlingen and McAllen office are so welcoming.

The wife and I started going here about 5 years ago. And we recommend them to all our friends and family. I have eye med through work and it takes care of everything. My co pay was only $10.00.

I am very pleased with this clinic. I have been their patient for years and am very satisfied with the doctors and staff. They are all very curtious and respectful. I highly recommend this clinic for any of your eye care needs.

Dr McMillin gas been treating me for many many years. He has always been genuinely concerned with my eye health and kids have also seen him. He is very thorough and George is also great. They are very accommodating to my needs.

I’ve been getting care at Gulf Coast for many years now. Most recently, I’ve had retinal surgery. I’ve gotten excellent care. Each time I’ve gone in, everyone is so nice, friendly and accommodating. I’ve called after I got home and have been emailed a copy of my receipt at my request. Of course I am sent to the waiting room between each step in the process of my office visit, which is different than being left alone to wait in an exam room. But that’s just the way it is. My mother had an eye appointment. Staff was kind and professional in the phone and also when we came in for the appointment. Mother was treated well with kindness and patience . We did not wait long to be seen which was a very nice surprise ( my previous appointment had a wait period of hours!! It was awful!)...... But the big change in attention and promptness is absolutely wonderful. I will definitely recommend this group for eye exams. I hope they continue with their great service. I am having PRK surgery In April @ Gulf Coast Eye Institute. Ana the receptionist, Dr Patel and all staff have been very informative and personalized with my individual needs. I look forward to having the surgery and having great, restored vision. I would definitely recommend, so give them a call and get rid of your glasses or contacts.

Everything went smoothly once I was taken from the large waiting room to begin my appointment. Dr. McMillin, as always, was informative and professional. My only complaint is that I waited in the large waiting room for over an hour before anything happened. Why do I need to arrive at 2:15 for a 2:30 appointment if I'm not going to get started until 3:40? This needs to be improved. Dr. McMillin has been very helpful with my needs. I asked for glasses specifically for flying so I may see well at distance and also read instruments across the cockpit. I also asked for glasses to specifically use for computers. And even another for leger work. He never balked but worked up each prescription I asked for.

Being more open to patients would improve performance.
