Dr. Raymond Bogaert

The people who did my root canal on Feb. 15th were amazing. I am writing a review of the staff at the front desk. Before I had my root canal, I had to have an additional scan. I had asked over the phone if I could send that scan to other dentists to see if I could get a cheaper root canal since I would have to pay $1,900 for my root canal and I'm not Jeff Bezos. After I got the scan, I had to pay $400 and when I asked if I could have it sent to me through email, they looked at me with surprise. Apparently they could only give me a CD and that I could send it through mail to other dentists. And since my root canal was urgent, I didn't have time to go mail to other dentists. I find this comportment to be quite deceptive. I had given a warning to the staff in person after my root canal that I was going to write this review if I didn't get my $400 back. A lady told me she would talk to someone that deals with billing, but I got no response.

I got the unfortunate news from my dentist that I needed a root canal before I could receive my permanent crown. Not only did Alderwood Endodontics get me in the next day for the root canal, but the staff & doctor were incredibly caring and patient as well. I have never had a root canal before- and was impressed by their kindness and professionalism.

Dr. Wu is one of a kind. She understands the fear of dental procedures and put me 100% at ease. Quick to get a check up appt on a Friday and right Monday for a root canal. She solved a pain I’ve been dealing with for years. No doubt I would return if needed. Highly highly recommend.

Dr. Wu and her staff are absolutely amazing!! They saved my tooth that has a really bad cavity of more than 30 years. Dr. Wu is definitely the best doctor I ever had. She is so patient, caring, skilled, and detailed. I'm really grateful for what she has done for me. Thank you , Dr. Wu!

Had a great experience with both being referred here and later getting work done. Low pressure, good explanation, and smooth operating.

Dr. Boegart is very careful, and there was no pain during either of my root canals. He also has a good bedside manner. His staff is also very professional.

My fiancé has had two root canals done here at different times and has had a wonderful experience. He had a terrible experience with another dentist and alderwood endo was able to get him in fast when he was in pain.

For such a skilled professional, Dr. Bogaert comes across as very casual and humble. He had a good sense of humor, which relaxed me. I just remember something about his shoes that made me laugh, like red basketball shoes? After all I’d heard about root canals, it seemed quicker and more pain-free than I expected.

Initial appointment left me feeling uneasy. Unusual to be asked for a fee before you even leave the reception area. That had not been explained, and could not be a check. Had to be cash or credit card. I had procedures and scans I was unfamiliar with, thus the price apparently. I asked him to explain what we were looking at. Intimidated me. Didn't want to take much time, used ultra technical terms and "you'll see that-------" when I did not know where/what he was referring to, and he didn't bother to tell me. My regular dentist always tells me what he is going to do before I feel anything. This one caught me off guard with a painful check to see if I reacted. You bet I did. Felt like kind of a cash mill. Also the dental assistant could have used mouthwash. Got a second opinion/provider closer to home. Very satisfied so I am glad I went with my gut reaction.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This hack of doctor treated my sister so poorly. He fat-shamed her. Told her he had NEVER heard of someone having elevated blood pressure for DENTAL PROCEDURE. Learn to treat people with a little consideration and respect Dr. Bogaert. How unprofessional to make such comments when you don't know her medical conditions. Incidentally -- root canals make people nervous. Then their blood pressure rises. It happens to a lot of people regardless of their weight. I had a very favorable experience at Alderwood Endodontics. The staff was professional and helpful. They managed to accomodate me the next day after I called for an appointment with Dr. Bogaert. He and his assistant, Rhonda, did a great job with my root canal.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. Dr. Bogaert did a really good job with the procedure and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Would recommend to others for root canals.

Great staff and great Endodontist! Had to go for a root canal - the process, wait time and attention were fantastic. I highly recommend Dr. Bogaert! He's funny too - which I really appreciated. Sometimes "bedside" manner is lacking in Physicians/Dentists, etc. - but not here. We were jamming to music from our teenage years while he was working on my tooth. It was a GREAT distraction!

This was my third root canal from Dr. Bogaert. All went well. Dr. Bogaert (as well as the entire staff at Alderwood Endodontics) have always been very professional. They continue to show genuine concern over my care and comfort. He practices continuous improvement (employing modern equipment like 3D imaging, Gentle Wave, etc). Highly recommended.

Highly recommend Dr Bogaert and his staff. Needed a root canal due to an accident - staff squeezed me in right away for an initial exam to determine damage and course of action. I appreciated their ability to not make me wait and the procedure a few days later went very smoothly!

The staff and Dr. Bogoert were not only professional, but kind and considerate of me during the whole procedure. I am "old" and have trouble getting around, plus a bad back. I so appreciate their kindness.

3 days ago I had a terrible toothache. I went to my dentist who referred me to Alderwood Endodontics. He thought I might be able to save my tooth with a root canal. After my exam by Dr Bogeart, it was determined that the tooth was in such bad shape that it could not be saved. I'm now scheduled for oral surgery. Dr Bogeart was very honest and fair. Thank you doctor. I would recommend you and your fellow doctors to anyone in need of endodontic work. Your honesty and professionalism is exemplary.

Dr. Bogaert did a great job on my root canal. It was virtually painless and quick. I would highly recommend him! Also, the staff was excellent!

Dr. Bogaert took extra care to ensure a pain-free procedure. He and his staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Bogaert treated me for a very painful tooth that needed a root canal. I was able to get in within two days or my initial exam appointment (which was the same day I called). The root canal procedure went very well and was painless, except for a very slight "pinch" with the first anesthetic injection. They have a machine that injects the anesthetic very slowly - which was great. Dr. Bogaert and his assistant Rhonda checked with me multiple times during the procedure to make sure I was OK.

I was referred to Dr. Bogart by my dentist to review root canal pain issues. The office let me know right away that I had to pay for a non-covered scan. The appointment felt rushed and the doctor stared at my scans saying well I could keep looking at this but it's not telling me anything. He then proceeded to say he didn't know but maybe I had gingivitis. Impossible, I just had ALL of my teeth crowned.. I was told to "live with the pain." for almost $400.oo between the scan and visit fees.

Dr. Raymond Bogaert, DMD Was very friendly and under standing of my pain and need of a root canal I came in for a consult at about noon, and they got me in just hours later for the root canal. SAME day service was awesome! The office was quick and very professional.

Might be a good dentist, dont know because I didn't get any treatment from him, but on my first visit he was not nice and friendly at all. Not even polite enough and I didn't feel welcomed by him!! Didn't make any predict on my tooth saving chance without doing scan which would cost me around $180.00!!!!

I have seen Dr Bogaert twice for a root canal-he got me in immediately when I had an urgent need with a badly swollen gum-after a week of antibiotics he did the procedure-it was done in a very timely manner and I had no pain afterwards. I would highly recommend him and really appreciated the care he and his staff gave me

Got right in to see him for a root canal. He was very caring and made sure I was in no pain. He called me personally the next day to check on me. Very friendly staff. Comfortable office. Would highly recommend!

It was my first root canal so I have nothing to compare it to but it was painless. The doc took his time and made me feel comfortable. Hope to never see him again but if I need another I will be coming here.

No one likes getting a root canal, but when you've gotta have one, Alderwood Endodontics is the place to go. The equipment is all state-of-the-art, and the staff is great. Dr. Bogaert did mine. The procedure was no more uncomfortable than getting a filling, and only minimal discomfort afterward. Also appreciated the followup call from Dr. Bogaert the next day to check in and ask how I'm doing.
