Dr. Ravi Yalamanchili

I had a severe herniated disc at L3-L4 and could barely walk , worst pain one could go through. First time I went to see him he took a look at my MRI Disk and told me what the issue was immediately and at that moment he had never seen that actual report so I knew that this Doctor knew his work because my Chiropractor had told me the same thing when looking at the Disk , so I choose him and I am very grateful that I did. This doctor only interested in making money, not helping patients. Tiny waiting room full, no COVID spacing. I was told to bring proof I'd paid my insurance premium in order to be seen. The exam room had not been cleaned since the last patient. I was a new patient, but there was no neuro exam. I was asked to bend over, lean from side to side, and that was it. He took a quick look at the scans from my primary doctor, then told me I didn't need surgery, so should see someone else. I asked what caused my symptoms, he shrugged, said could be many things. I was with Dr. Yalamanchili for 8 minutes (part of that time he was on his cell looking for his computer password) then he charged my insurer $325. Shameful!

Had back surgery, in September, and the results have been wonderful I've suffered with back pain for years and after the six week recovery period, I no longer have horrible back pain sitting or standing. Dr. Yalamanchili is very professional, informative and easy to talk to. I found his staff quite pleasant and easy to work with.

Extremely bad. Neck surgery after accident. Metal rods in my neck came loose. 2nd operation worse than the first. The rods are loose and have fallen down towards my shoulders. I have intense pain in my legs, neck, feet. Can't walk. Feet and legs are swollen to the point that I had to change my pants size just for my legs. I'm completely unable to work. I'm mad all the time and I've become a recluse. I'm consultant botched spinal procedures and am going to John Hopkins where Real surgeons are. Whatever. I'm normaly a very active person. I do things around the house as long as I can stand it then Have to lie down for at least an hour or 2. Whatever, again.

Terrible Dr., said I needed neck surgery or I would lose all feelings in my arms and hands, had my wife scared to death. Went to another Neurosurgeon today and guess what I don't need surgery at all. My primary dr. warned me that there's never a neck that he doesn't like. That right there made me get a 2nd opinion and I'm sure glad I did. His staff is the most unprofessional I've ever seen in a Drs. office. He needs to have his license revoked for insurance scam for operating on people that really don't need it. He's just all about the money!!

I found him to be very kind, easy to understand, informative & skilled. I will have no hesitations in calling upon him for future procedures.

The receptionist at the Martinsburg office was friendly, professional, and helpful in directing me conerning what was needed. Dr Yalmanchili has always been welcoming and fully explains my currect condition as shown in the Xray/Catscan/MRI. He then explains the options available and assists in suggesting the best one for me.

Dr. Yali changed my life from one filled with pain and misery to being well on my way to healing after cervical spinal surgery 2 days ago. I had seen 5 other doctors & 2 ER visits before he immediately recognized there was a problem and diagnosed the correct solution. He was calm, caring, and confident throughout! Thank you so much Dr. Yali for giving me my life back!

Dr. Y was nice but his staff is horrible. Jody is rude and the manager is no different. The staff represents the practice and they portray aggression.

Its sad to have any health issues, especially chronic neurological issues, so i sympathize with those who have left bad reviews. However I was involved in a car crash 2 years ago and was "taken" to Dr Y. He was kind, attentive and courteou - and helped me with the followup questions. I'm not used to Doctors being this humble. Yes the staff are great as well. I still have (very) minor pain lingering from that accident. -it wont let me completely forget it, but thats how it is I gues

My sister saw him for a pre-op visit and was told she needed immediate surgery to fix a spinal cord compression. She was told she had to pay 20 percent upfront but wasn't told he amount. I called to work out the expenses and talked to a terrible clinical assistant who was rude and uncaring. I was directed to an even more rude office manager who had a strong accent and wouldn't give her last name ( prob his wife) who was horrible rude and greedy. Dr may be great but only as great as his staff !

Do yourself a favor and see another doctor. He didn't even spend 5 minutes with me. I've been having the worst pain of my life to where walking is a challenge, I have to drag my leg down the hall due to pain. After he attempted to dismiss our appt after a couple minutes, I again told him about my pain, how I can't live like this, I work full time and have an infant and a toddler. He told me he doesn't have a magic pill and there is nothing he can do until I get another MRI. Receptionist is rude!

Dr Yalamanchili did my neck surgery last fall. He was very informative in giving me all the pros and cons of the surgery process. When the anesthesia gave me a sour stomach, he was quick to prescribe me a anti-nausea medication to help stop the vomiting so I could start to heal properly. His office staff is well organized and to the point. They make scheduling easy, and call to remind of appointments. The office manager was quick to fix an issue when I received a bill in error. Overall great!

WOULDNT TRUST THIS GUY WITH MY PET DOG. TOTALLY GAVE ME BAD SERVICE, MISS INFORMATION AND DOWN RIGHT LIED. HIS FRONT OFFICE IS A MESS THEY CANT KEEP A RECEPTIONIST BECAUSE OF THE MRS. I HEARD ALL ABOUT THAT FROM THE RECETIONIST ABOUT TO WALK OUT AS SHE WAS GETTING MY VITALS, LIKE I WANTED TO HEAR THAT. HE MISSED A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE WITH MY CORD AND CLAIMED IT HAPPENED DURING SURGERY EVEN THOUGH HIS PARTNER IN CRIME MMI, SAID IT WAS THERE. THOUGHT HE KNEW MORE & SHE WAS WRONG.DISABLE FOR LIFE.

I had a WC injury to my neck, a herniated disk with a pinched nerve. Dr Yalamanchili did an amazing job with the surgery & with my aftercare. I will never go to another doctor for this type of injury & I will recommend him to everyone I know. All of the girls in the office were wonderful, but I would like to give a shout out to one In particular, Julia, she was a God send through the whole WC situation.

He has wonderful bedside manner. He listens, he cares, and he explains things in a way that you can understand. He is very gentle and very thorough. His office staff are amazing as well, very friendly and very helpful. All around, LOVE them all.

Dr Yalamanchili did a two level lumbar fusion on me. If I could go back in time, I would never set foot in that office. If I asked a question about anything (and was by myself at the appointment), he would become argumentative. Even if I was trying to clarify or better understand something. I stopped going there after he refused to answer my question and had the front office call to say I needed to go to an oncologist immediately. Dr Y refused to talk with me or my other Drs.
