Dr. Ravi K Koti

I have Mixed reviews about Dr. Koti, his staff, front and back staff and my treatment. So let's start with what was good the best thing about this office is the girls in the back who I feel have the hardest job. They're the ones who spend the most time with the patients as they're the ones that are hooking the patients up to the chemo and asking the question and calming them down and assuring them that everything is going to be okay, or as okay as it can be. Really those girls are awesome. The office was clean, and I didn't have to wait to long. But heres Where things start to get a little muddled I saw Dr. Koti physically 3 times the first time I saw him I was there for my consultation and I came in with my son. DR. Koti seemed very professional, knowledgeable, and best of all hopeful we could treat my cancer and win. But he didn't have very good bedside manor, my son felt he was rude, I thought busy. The second time I saw him I came by myself it was my first day of treatment I went back he seemed better the little nicer explain things little better answered my questions everything went good got my treatment everything was great it worked amazingly to well. My third visit I came with my husband this was his 1st meeting with the doctor. Due events at a hospital that I had just visited where I was poorly treated, man handled by staff, and give something I'm allergic to I signed out AMA and the hospital said some things that were not true to cover their butt from getting sued. Dr. Koti read the hospitols notes in my record, asked me a question then before I could answer he snaped at me, cutting me off he didn't let me explain anything that happened, he just yelled at me. This made me cry and my husband was about to say something not nice but i didnt want issues. So I stopped him. I was then referred to another doctor to get cleared to be treated again but due to being stuck in a loop where 1 Dr won't treat till I'm cleared by another and he won't treat till I'm cleared by a third who can't treat me because what they're wanting done I have no symptoms. The insurance company wont pay for it so unless I have thousands of thousands of dollars I can't get a test that other doctors just don't think I need because I have a symptoms. So it is now been 12 weeks since I received any treatment the lump that we're previously shrunk are starting to grow back any actually bigger than they were. This morning I called the office for help and I can't get any I called his office To ask them to fax the records to another doctor since I'm kind of stuck I was spoken to really badly the girl on the phone was rude. In fact the front office staff is very rude the people you talk to when you call our very rude they need to realize that they're dealing with people who are scared, upset we are there for their help and not retreated like jerks I understand it sometimes the patient can be a jerk and mistreat the staff But in this case it was the exact opposite.

THE OFFICE STAFF HIGHLY INCOMPETENT

I’ve been coming to Dr. Koti’s office for about 5-6 years now. I have always appreciated Dr. Koti’s kindness and care. If I have any issues whatsoever, he will ask me if there’s anything he can do for me , and he and his staff solve my problem. He’s always there and so many patients adore him too.

I have weekly visits and this will continue for some time

Dr. Loti and his entire staff are knowledgeable, attentive and caring. I know I am in professional hands. They know their stuff and apply their profession in a friendly caring manner.

I'm very pleased with the service in this office . I was concerned about the receptionist but they fixed the problem everything is so smooth and Dr koti himself he's taking care your worries thank you for listening

Very professional staff. Short wait time. Doctor very knowledgeable and explained what my blood test were run for.

I have been using Dr Koti and his team for over two years for a serious medical problem. His team is well versed in procedures that provide consistent high quality process on a regular basis. The staff operate extremely well together and present a professional demeanor in all that they do. Questions and concerns are always welcomed and the answers flow freely until you are satisfied you are clear and at ease. The patients are not treated like they are merely "...a number". The facility is clean, presentable and comfortable. The staff attempts to accommodate scheduling for both the facility and your personal availability. I cannot think of a negative situation that has occurred in these two years.

The staff and Doctor was very friendly answered all my questions. They also made me feel like they care about their patients.

We recently saw Dr.Koti for treatment of advanced lung cancer of my Dad. He was very thorough in his explanation and made it easy for us to understand the treatment plan. We feel we are in very good hands . The staff are pleasant too.

Staff is rude! You sit at window watching them eat when your there for appt. Dr never introduced himself just came in spewing and I wasn’t the patient! Ignored my daughter , as if she was not able to make her decisions on her own. I went for moral support, and obviously ask more questions. I immediately found her another physician and she will NOT be returning!!!! Office has black mold on ceilings. Just overall RUN!!!! Staff is rude! Dr. Koti is a great doctor, but his office manager is very unpleasant, rude, and NEVER returns my phone calls. Perhaps she should work somewhere away from the public.

Dr. Koti is the best hematologist/oncologist in the Ocala area! He is kind and cares about your health and wellness. Quickly, but effectively diagnosis you and thoroughly goes over your treatment plan. The office staff are all very sweet and help put your nerves to ease when receiving your treatments. Highly recommend!

I met Dr. Koti while I was in the hospital. He is very through and very kind. He will slow down to answer questions and explain treatment.

We had a positive experience with the doctor and staff .The nurses are efficient . The doctor is very caring and takes time to understand your concerns and makes you feel at ease.

My first appointment was 11/11/21 and my fourth appointment today 12/16/21. Beginning with the first telephone call, doctor visit, and each treatment Dr. Koti and his staff have been very professional, friendly, and I have felt at ease. All questions that I have asked have been answered promptly and in terms that I could understand. The staff made me feel comfortable even when I was nervous and having brain freezes. After my first treatment I began to feel better immediately and I am still feeling good. I have no complaints just gratitude for Dr. Koti and his staff.

Follow up to a hospital stay. Everything went well, explanations provided. Staf was courteous and friendly.

I met with the nurse practitioner, and he was great! Finally found a place that actually cares to follow my illness.

i have been a patient of dr.koti for 8 years he diagnosed me with non hodgkins lymphoma stage 4 he acted fast and had me in remission in 4months staying in remission for a year when cancer reemerged he got me hooked up at moffits cancer center. they decided at that point to do stem cell procedure and can truly say if it werent for dr koti and his quick and decisive action i wouldnt be writing this review 6 years clean and counting

This is the best doctor's office I have ever visited. Calm, caring and smart. Communicating with doctor and staff is easy. They got my records fast and worked with my primary provider to solve my issues.

Though Dr. Koti is a very busy person he remains a caring soul. He takes time to acknowledge your presence with an optimistic and kind reply. He is a very knowledgeable and professional Physician and I consider myself fortunate to have him.

For two years, I have been going to the doctor for IV for ulcerative colitis. I have been going to Dr. Koti multiple times a year for about three years. One of the things that I am impressed with is how quickly I am taken in for my appointment. I rarely if ever have to wait. Whether it be your front desk, office staff, or medical staff they are all highly confident. The medical staff administrative the procedures are very well trained.

Dr. Koti is an excellent doctor. He keeps me informed and is very personable. I would recommend him to anyone.

They lose files, send letters a month and a half LATER about an alleged missed appointment that actually wasn't missed!!! Staff is argumentative and rude. Apparently if you make a last minute appointment what happens doesn't get documented.

First appointment was awful felt like they put me in a room and forgot about me was in there over 2 hours. Second visit was very good went well.

Was told by some incompetent in office I have leukemia. Then 2 weeks later.....we lost your marrow biopsy!! Fortunately, I do not have leukemia!! Thanks for causing me and my family horrible stress!!!

Was not happy with my first visit with Dr. Koti he doesn’t have very good bed side manners, when I asked a question he was rude with his answer as if why I would even ask it and he seemed rushed. I am going to go to another doctor.

I have been a patient for approximately two years. Today I visited the Ocala office and was happy to see that masks were required (sign on the door)and chairs in the waiting area were widely spaced. While we were waiting two people came in and delivered a personal order to one of the staff. These two people were not wearing masks and the staff did not ask them to put on masks. The matter they were discussing was purely personal having nothing to do with Dr. Koti's practice. So I asked them to please put on masks. I was disappointed that the staff didn't ask them to wear masks since everyone else was wearing a mask per the published policy.

Anyone that has a fear of being scheduled for a bone marrow biopsy like I was, do not be! I recently had a bone marrow procedure done by Dr. Koti and it was not nearly as painful as I anticipated. The procedure lasted approximately 15 minutes and while uncomfortable, the pain was minor.

Dr. Koti spends time to explain everything and is quite knowledgeable. Bring something to read or do while you wait to see him, however. I waiting almost two hours.

I was treated by Dr Koti for breast cancer and highly recommend him and his staff. There was never a wait time for for appointments and his staff was friendly and helpful during this stressful time. Dr Koti explained my treatments and prognosis in detail.

I found him through my family practice, after going to so many doctors, he was the only one to diagnose my blood condition. He is a very straight forward Dr. And tells you how things are going to be and what you need to do. Very thorough in his explanations about diagnosis and treatments and seems to care about his patients.

My husband has been to dozens of doctors, including many Cleveland Clinic specialists in Cleveland Ohio, and no one has been able to pin down the cause of his problems. He has multiple health issues including ascites, pancytopenia, and CHF. Each specialist seems to see only one small part of his condition. By the Grace of God, we found Dr. Koti who has guided each step of the way, educating, and finding the source of much of the illness. He quickly referred us to another fine specialist named Dr.Tom Brown who is finding out even more. Getting old is pretty tricky. You need a smart compassionate doctor. That is Dr. Koti. His staff is very nice also. He has an office near Dunnellon Fl and one in Ocala.

My husband is being treated for MDS for the past 8 months, Doctor Koti has been very informative, accurate and very honest, my husband and I love ALL the nurses he has working there, we have to give a big thank you to Holly, she can always find my husband's vein her smile is awesome, she sincerely cares about the patients, also Valerie for her bubbly personality, Christina for always being prompt and knowledgeable about the insurance, ALL of the girls are awesome when Courtney and Amanda come get us in the waiting room their smile is contagious, we love the whole Doctor Koti family, we are greatful for them.

Doctor Koti and ALL of his staff are the best, they have compassion that is truly sincere, their smiles are contagious no matter how bad you feel, ALL of the nurses are great, if this had to be with my husband's condition, we are happy we were referred to Doc Koti

My husband is currently being treated by Dr. Koti for his Prostate Cancer for the past 2 years, he was diagnosed 7 years ago with cancer. We have found Dr. Koti and his staff to be very attentive, caring, thorough. Dr. Koti listens and hears what you have to say and explains what treatments he suggests and why as well as what to expect. Dr. Koti includes are concerns and wishes when prescribing his treatment plans.

My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic Cancer approx 6 months ago. He decided do his treatment with Dr. koti and has had no regrets. Dr Koti and his staff are very compassionate and caring. My fathers treatment is going very well so far. His pain level has decreased drastically and also his tumor marker. Dr.koti does a great job explaining each and every step of the treatment. We are very happy with his care so so far.

I have been a patient of Dr Koti for several years. He is very professional and has closely monitored my health. When he found something was wrong he called me immediately and I went to the hospital. I am grateful for his concern.

Terrible service. The person who sits behind the desk in the front named Kristy has terrible people skills. She is rude and only cares about collecting co-payments. The doctor has no compassion either. He only cares about money as well. Take your family member to a real cancer center.

I was so glad that Dr. Koti was recommended to me for my blood disorder. He is a very compassionate and caring doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who needs his specialty. His staff is also wonderful.

Dr. Koti is terrific. When my 81 year-old wife was diagnosed with advanced multiple myeloma (bone cancer) at the end of March, Dr. Koti prescribed chemotherapy which she tolerated very well. By the end of July my wife was in remission. By mid-August she was back on the tennis court. We think Dr. Koti and his staff are wonderful!

Dr Koti is a very knowledgeable and professional physician. He found out what was wrong with me, when no one else could. I am very thankful for him..His staff is slso amazing. If you are told you need a blood doctor, he is the Best!

Doctor koti is a wonderful doctor. Unlike some doctors that have case overload, Dr. koti remembers my husband and his condition every time he comes in the room. I would recommend him 200%.

We were referred to Dr Koti for a rare blood disorder. He got me in immediately and from day one his understanding of the disorder and course of action has brought positive results. He has insured that I receive the treatment I need to get better. I have the utmost confidence in his diagnoses and his treatment and feel I am getting the best care and positive results under his supervision.

I come to the office almost daily and I love the care I receive from my Nurses and doctor. He comes and sees each patient individually during infusions and keeps a very close eye on my treatment and blood work. I am very pleased with the staff and enjoy coming each time.

Dr. Koti recently treated me for B -cell Lymphoma and Bone Marrow cancer and succeded in getting it into remission.He was very caring and compassionate,thorough and competent. During each chemo drip he always came over and discussed my condition and my progress with me.He was always reassuring and explained the situation and the process in clear language that I could understand.I will be forever grateful for his service and caring manner.I am extremely appreciative of this very special man.

Dr. Koti and all his staff are great. He is a doctor that cares about your imput as a patient. He also makes sure that he talks with you every time you are in for a treatment. His staff are always cheerful and helpful. One thing I do know is that whatever you bring in to your visit is what you will experience. There is nothing that Dr. Koti or his staff can do about your own personal negativity, even though they do try.

Everytime I have been to see Dr Koti he has been professional, caring, he answered all my questions. His staff is beyond nice, and the office is always clean.

My mom has been a patient of Dr.Koti for over 3 years. Dr. Koti has been very compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable in the treatment he has provided throughout the years. He and his staff are very caring and professional. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

When I first met the Doctor in the hospital we were not on very good terms because I did not fully understand what was going on. Now that I have come to know him I know he has my best interest at heart. I see a Doctor in Virginia who is good but Dr. Koti and his staff are above standards. Seldom do I have to wait long and when I do it's only when they are extremely busy, The staff gets you in and out quickly.

My wife is a patient of this doctor . At least that what He presents himself as but yet his care of his patients seems to be based on money and or insurance. My wife has been turned away from this man because of insurance and money situations when it was known what the problem was from the start. I am patient newer to Dr. Koti in the past year, his staff and himself are a blessing during this time in my life. I have complete confidence in Dr. Koti that he is providing me with the best care I can receive.

This doctor brag about what he can do. He did not ask questions. I wanted to give him more details about my situation and all he can say is I've done lots of these procedures will do it anyway.
