Dr. Rasmia Khalid is my oncologist. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March, 2010. My future looked grim. Dr. Khalid came up with a plan of treatment; Chemo (Taxol and Herceptin), Lumectomy and Radiation. I'm in remission at this time. I still undergo Herceptin treatment every three weeks. Dr. Khalid treats all of her patients with respect and kindness - she has a friendly, outgoing personality. The nurses, Maria, Lisa, Mary, Peggy and Frances have been there from the start. What can I say, they are wonderful and gave me hope. When I go for my treatments we are all in one big room, nicely designed and I see how they are with the other patients too. They all work together, have compassion and make us all laugh when we really need to - they have become my friends. Reception and admin is always on top of your needs.
