Raphael Pascal Henri Meier

If I could give Dr. Meier more stars I would. While Dr. Meier is an exceptional surgeon, as he saved my life performing a liver transplant, he is an even more exceptional person. Dr. Meier was by my side every step of the way through my journey from the day the liver become available, transplant, recovery, more surgeries, time in the ICU, to discharge. Stopping by my room even when it wasn't his day to do rounds to calling me to check in when he wasn't at the hospital. During my ICU stay it was touch and go at one point, & I was told he only left when he had to & did everything possible to make sure I made it out of there. As you can see, he did! He is extremely knowledgeable & explains everything in "normal" people terms. I felt at ease with him as part of my team. If I could see him for every medical issue, I would. I could go on & on about how great he both professionally and personally. I highly recommend Dr. Meier if you are ever in need of a transplant surgeon.
