Dr. Randolph Y. Chang

I would rather not speak about the guy who calls himself Doctor Randolph Chang. I would rather speak about the receptionist. She was very kind and helpful. She made me feel welcome and was very professional. Then there was my intake nurse. 1 out of 10 I would without reservation rate her as a ten. I was having let us say a bad day, I suffered from a stroke a short time ago and some days my mind can get mixed up especially when a person who asks a question in a very quick manner and does not allow one to answer, very rude, over bearing, and is one who actually likes talking down to people. Shame on that type of person especially if it is a doctor. But in this case the intake nurse was simply put everything one would expect of a intake nurse. She was kind, well organized, and helpful. She took the extra time to assist me. I asked her to pardon me and informed her of the stroke I suffered. She is a professional person, knowledgeable, and one with a heart.

All my visits come out good staff takes care of me as well as I been seeing dr Chang for 28 years as he also referred me to a doctor when I broke my back hand he saved my back great doctor of knowage takes his time with me .

Dr. Randolph Chang is an absolutely nasty physician. In our first appointment he yelled at me for taking strong prescription medication that the RIC pain clinic had already prescribed for me. A graduate student, pursuing her PhD, told me that he's abrasive but he means well. Recently, I went to Swedish covenant hospital to see another doctor and they said that not only is Dr. Chang very rude to his patients...but he's also a jerk to the other doctors in the hospital as well. ALL - please trust me. Stay away at all cost! I can speak to all of you regarding all my ailments, but it will put you to sleep. And I am 42 years old, suffering like you guys have no idea. As a grown man, I was crying in pain and trying to explain to him all the specialists I have seen and my out-of-pocket expense to the male clinic in Minnesota. He could not relate with anything I was speaking about, including factual information, All MRIs everything. Stay away, you’ll thank me later. I’m not a gambler, but I will bet anyone any amount of money that he will not be there to help you. Amongst everything, horrible interaction skills, maybe that is because he is from another country and lacks the dialogue, the compassion, the help we need here in the USA. I am a white man, who speaks phenomenal English, and communicating with him was extremely impossible. If you choose to see him, Please read all the other reviews. I am telling the absolute truth.

Dr Chang has been my pain Dr since 2001-present. I didn't see him for a few years due to other medical issues but I recently returned. His epidural do help me until fracturing my foot after my fall. As soon as I return from my injury I can schedule a must needed epidural. I highly recommend Dr Chang. He takes his time listening to his patient.
