Dr. Randall K Wenokur

Just terrible. I went to Dr. Wenokur to check for any earwax blockage. He spent less than 5 minutes with me, looked into my ears, and then my nose without communicating with me the result of his examination. In my out, his assistant gave me a sheet of paper about tinnitus. He charged my insurance $575 for lees than 5 minutes of his time.

Not good. Spent about a couple of minutes on me after checking my info on the internet and said I should just go back and follow my previous couple of doctors since he's not an expert on parotid gland. And yet the bill to my insurance was $585 - outrageous. So adjustment was $389 and I had to pay $195.98. Told my insurance company it was not acceptable since my provider normally spend almost an hour with me most times and charge the insurance less than half of that. He referred me to an associate of his which I didn't bother to see.

I came in for chronic sore/irritated throat, lingering cough, voice problems, and feeling of postnasal drip. I had two visits over the course of a couple months, but I still have no relief and no clear treatment plan. Both visits were short and mostly unhelpful. He didn’t seem interested in what I had to say, and had no good recommendations for further treatment. I eventually saw another ENT who was much more caring, clear, and helpful. I feel like I spent months feeling awful, just waiting for him to provide any medical guidance.

Horrid. Told me my sinusitis was not fungal since that was very rare. Well the fungal infection ate into my sinus bones, and there was zero drainage in my left sinus! Dismissive of my severe symptoms and said I had stress....and that was the cause of my earache! I finally got another doctor to help me, after some months. Thank God she did surgery or I could have died! Stop reading previous notes about your patients and try listening to them!

Dr Wenokur is easy to talk to so we understand what tyhe situation is and how we can correct it.

Dr Wenokur is a very caring, attentive, and excellent doctor. I appreciated how he had one of his staff get me in sooner to see another specialist!

I've been a patient of Dr. Wenokur for several years. He is always punctual. pleasant and interested in my problems. Perhaps even more important, he solves my problems quickly and gently.

He is the best!! He listens carefully - has a pleasant manner of caring, and knows what to do to help your condition!

Dr. Wenokur was great! I went in for persistent itchy ears and he could tell right away the left one was a bigger problem. He prescribed some hydrocortisone drops. I am hopeful they will help.

I was able to change to Dr. Wenokur a few years ago once my insurance changed from another practice in Walnut Creek that I was very unhappy with. This office has much a much nicer, happier staff, the whole feeling is different...my conditions have been dealt with in an efficient manner. He even noticed a problem in my last visit that has been ignored by other drs. Probably the best ENT dr I have gone to, will miss going here when I move.

I have been under Dr.Wenokur's care for over 1 year and he has taken care of all of my ENT problems. I recommend him highly

Dr. Wenokur is very professional and courteous. I went to see him for nasal bleeding and was given an overall exam. He found a small lump on my thyroid that my GP wasn't able to detect. I was sent for an ultrasound and have been monitoring the situation. I trust & respect Dr. Wenokur's guidance.

He performed (and billed for) an expensive procedure, but that visit resulted in a wrong diagnosis as to the cause of my sinus and ear infection. In the report to my GP, he recommended discontinuing the antibiotics that were keeping my Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in check. My GP acted on that recommendation, and stopped prescribing the drugs, and within a two weeks I was very sick. I would rather chew olive leaves (bitter) than use or recommend Dr. Wenokur.
