Randall Stoner Vollertsen

I have recommended Dr. Vollertsen to many others. He runs his practice like medicine should be practiced. He has lab on site and connections to get other tests or specialists involved if need be. It was the best medical experience I have ever had. Thank you Dr. V Sue Johnson ( Paul Eidsness' MIL ;-)

I went to see Dr. Vollertsen when I couldn't get into my regular doctor right away. I had just been with my granddaughter who had been exposed to Hand, Foot and Mouth disease at her daycare. I was exhibiting what I thought might be symptoms so went to have it confirmed or ruled out. I told Dr. Vollertsen this and he said it was highly unlikely, proceeded to bring in several office staff to look at me and give their opinion, and then ordered a slew of lab tests and a chest x-ray! I had no idea how expensive it would all be. I ended up with a $300+ lab bill and a bill for $400+ from Dr. Vollertsen - AFTER insurance. He had charged almost $430 for a 'comprehensive background check' and 'professional consultation'. Then I got a call that one of the lab tests was irregular and they wanted me to come back for more! I called my regular physician at that point and was told that had I called her, told her about my granddaughter and described my symptoms she would have told me it was very likely I had hand, foot and mouth disease. I believe Dr. Vollertsen was just looking for a way to make money, figuring my insurance would cover it all.
