The best saved us
I met Dr Malekan in Buffalo NY in 2005, When he was recruited to head Buffalo's new (at the time) Gates Vascular Institute. Unfortunately, Buffalo lost a superior, skilled and compassionate surgeon..So, When I received a call from Buffalo General telling me they did not know who was going to perform the "Bentall procedure" for my open heart surgery because "we don't do that here" I ended up in NYC in Dr. Malekan's skillful hands anyway. Forever grateful to Dr Malekan.
Outstanding! Dr. MAlekan was encouraging, thorough and patient. His confidence gave me courage and confidence to go forward with a very complicated surgery. Most importantly his skills were superior and very successful.
