Dr. Ramin Hessamfar

This office is robbing the people. Cigna insurance sent me the detail that this office is on advantage panel and their estimate out of pocket cost is $1156. When I visited this office, they gave me an estimated out of pocket cost almost $2000 and $2600 for my two kids. I agreed and tell them to send pre-authorization to the insurance. When this office received the pre-authorization from the insurance, Miss Tanya called me and said the "your insurance did not approve the full amount and your out of pocket cost will be more than whatever she already gave me". I called my insurance and spoke to them and they told me a totally different story. My insurance explained to me that the Orthodontist office is overcharging you. Under the contract with insurance, this dentist officer can not charge more than approximately $1156 (out of pocket cost). When I spoke to Miss Tanya about it, she said the other charges are for X-rays, appliances and equipment. That is really surprising.

My son started his first phase of treatment over a year ago and I couldn't have asked for a better orthodontic office. My son has had numerous dental work since he was a toddler, so you can imagine it can be quite hard for him feel comfortable after everything he has been through. But the staff and Dr. Hessamfar are professionals! Not only has the staff and the doctor have been extra accommodating, they truly know how to make one feel at ease! I feel very fortunate to have found this office.
