Like many others this is not a review of the physicians but rather a review for the office manager. This woman is the rudest laziest unprofessional and most incompetent person you will ever speak too. The sad part is that this doctor is an amazing however the staff is causing them to lose patients. I am being told that they have 1 appointment but then when they cannot verify the secondary because the office coordinator cannot take a simple number, she then tells me that that appointment date is no longer available. Then when I ask to speak to the office manager, she leaves me on hold for another 20 minutes. I hang up and call again, and when she answers, she then tells me the office manager is not in anymore. DO NOT MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT TO THIS OFFICE. you will be treated like you do not matter.

Went to this doctor in 2017, forward to November 2021 and I see a past collections payment on my credit, I have NEVER received a bill or ANY communication stating I had an open balance. Will be reporting this company.

Dr. Gopalaswamy is just amazing! He really cares, listens, is so thorough and followed up immediately with referrals to help me daughter with her situation. I could not ask for more from a doctor.

My husband went to this doctor just because it was a referral, and the condition he has he needs a neuro ophthalmologist . Our insurance doesn’t have him , so when they let me know the first time I asked them how much it would be , they told me an amount and after the second visit , ans paying the amount both visits I received a bill around 600 over what I already paid . That was the first thing . No communicating and not being honest. Due to this and because we are not rich and we need to go to the doctor . I initiated an exception with my insurance . That way He can be covered. The doctor denied it . He denied our petition . On the phone with Samantha Gutierrez . The manager there, she kept saying they have the option to denied , even there’s not other doctor he can go and this was a referral, I told her that this was ridiculous that we are trying to get him better and it can’t be that a doctor does that , SAMANTHA I HOPE YOU CAN READ THIS. You are the most unprofessional person I ever talked too. Rude , saying “ don’t call or come here anymore . “ not even listening, we are people too . Sick people love , so try a little bit to be more a person and not the b you were . People, just stay away from this office . Doctor G has been my doctor for almost 7 years has never rushed me always answers my questions and does not sugar coat what your issues are but always has a game plan set in place will return all your phone calls no matter day or night treats you like family always goes beyond what protocol requires for your your best needs

Office manager is unprofessional and incompetent. Should not be allowed to run an office.

Worse experience ever! The front desk personnel are rude, thoughtless and inconsiderate. Honestly even one star is too much!

If I could give this "practice" a negative zero, I would. This office is incompetent and that's putting it lightly. I requested fmla forms for my mother who has been in the hospital for over a month, only to be told there's basically no turn around time frame. I would think 1 month would be sufficient enough for paperwork. Also, Dr. Gopalaswamy saw my mother the first time she was released from the hospital and only prescribed more anti seizure meds and sent home with constant seizures. I took my mom for a second opinion at Cleveland Clinic, the minute the doctor saw my mother she said this was an emergency and admitted my mother right away....Why wasn't this done by Dr. Gopalaswamy??? If I could rate this place zero stars I would. Very unprofessional and incompetent. How is it that you cancel WITHIN the time frame and verify TWICE that I did NOT owe anything and they still turn around and charge you. The young lady in the front told me NOT to worry that everything will be fine. Come to find out they put it on collection for 50 measly bucks. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE I MEAN LOOK AT THE REVIEWS PEOPLE. This doctor charges for no show fees when you cancel according to their time frames. Very sketchy and funny. Lies, he will tell you he accepts your insurance and then bill you directly. He also will just "try" to see your file so he can bill, even though there was absolutely no medical reason and patient had been cleared. I am so grateful for Dr. Ramesh Gopalaswamy. I had issues with sleeping at night and a very bad sensation on my thighs and hands. Needless to say that for the first time in approximately a year I had a good nights sleep. I highly recommend Dr. Ramesh Gopalaswamy without reservations. God bless this doctor. Golde Kubiliun

Front and Back Office is Terrible - Dr Zaret and staff are great Billing department gets a zero - Dr Zaret and his staff 5 stars - I have to say the experience in working with the front office from a billing perspective - not receptionist (she was super nice) was the worst I have ever experienced before. She was outright rude to me and I am a very easy going person. She wanted to take on a copay and fee for the visit even though I had explained to her that my fees and deductible were 100% satisfied. She didn't want to do any research on the matter other than what her head office was telling her, which was to collect this money from me or I can reschedule my appointment. I didn't want to do that. She told me if I don't pay the money I cannot see the doctor today. I have never been bullied like that before by anyone. Of course now they own me the money I paid and when we called to inquire about the refund, we were told it would take a few weeks since they are short staffed. Well they were not short staffed enough to take my money in error, but now they are too short staff to reimburse me for something I should have never had to pay. This billing person needs serious training in customer relations AND insurance billing. Unfortunately for Dr Zaret - I will not ever go back there again, so I do not have to deal with this terrible customer experience billing person again. Wait for more than a hour and can even pass the reception. Roberto the guy at front was very rude. When I ask him how much longer I have to wait he said he was busy and he will check after he finished what he was doing.

This is not a review of Dr. Gopalaswamy, who is a wonderful doctor, but his office staff.  In particular, a woman at the front desk whom I believe is named Yanelis (something like that).  I had called because I was not feeling well and I wanted to reschedule my appointment for the following week or his next available.  The attitude that I received from this employee was uncalled for and unconscionable.  She was heavily and loudly sighing on the phone as if my request was a huge burden for her.  She made me feel like I was a bother and was not to be treated respectfully.  I hung up and came in late to my appointment while still feeling very ill.  Such an attitude has no place in a healthcare environment, particularly when the patient is feeling very sick. Well!!!!! where can I start! Dr G has been exceptional he listen to me and always tries to look for other alternatives. I've been seeing him roughly 3 years and he truly understands my case. I know is hard nowadays to find a good doctor that sits and listen. I can tell you from past experiences some doctors will only spend with you 5mins and you'll leave their office clueless but not with Dr G. I was a patient with this fool

My mother has been treated by this Dr. and was diagnosed with Dementia. I had to move her with me to New York and did not have enough medication to hold her. Getting the office to return calls or to respond to an urgent matter they appear to not really care. They are hard to reach and do not return calls promptly. in the meantime I'm struggling trying to first find her another doctor here and to keep her calm. My cousin who lives There went in the office to express the urgency. No response!

Dr. Gopalaswammy is a good doctor that I have been seeing for over a year. He takes his times and is very thorough with each exam as well as incredibly knowledgeable. I cannot however leave a high rating because scheduling an appointment over the phone is a nightmare and the wait time to see him is ridiculous. I have been the first appointment of the day and still waited over 45 minutes to be seen. I find this inexcusable.

I was attended by Dr Gopalaswamy at the Memorial Hospital of Miramar on July 16 And the doctor like the rest of the doctors who attended me acted neglectedly in my case. The worst service I have ever received. The only thing they are interested in is making money with insurance. I will never go to another appointment with Dr Gopalaswamy and less recommend it to anyone.

Dr. Gopalaswamy is an excellent human being. Knowledgeable and quite understanding. I find him to be very empathetic and willing to work with you to find the best treatment for one's condition.

My wife was seen by this dr at memorial hospital after being admitted in the ER. He mis-diagnosed her with multiple sclerosis without following proper procedure. In order to determine if a person has multiple sclerosis the patien must have MRI's & lumbar puncture perform. He insisted that the lumbar puncture was not needed and insisted for her to visit a specialist who happens to be part of the medical group he's a part of. Be cautious this guy only has $$ in his head. You've been warned!!!

First visit wait time was over an hour. Staff was courteous in person but the office almost seemed overbooked. Second visit when I went in for an MRI they missed some requested films. Had to go back. Main issue is with booking follow up appointments. I can't get through, or receive a call back to get my results. Called 7 times in 2 days, the 6th time I was hung up on. I would suggest going to another MRI outfit for care as booking appointments with this location is almost impossible.
