Great doctor. Kind, knowledgeable and stays up to date on new medical information.

They take minimum of 3 days to get ahold of. This is office is insane.

Excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable and up to date on all the latest technologies. Only complaint is not open on weekends but this is par for the course for specialist!

Dr. Oiknine saved me from unnecessary surgery! He is kind, compassionate and really listens to his patients. I wish I could see him for all my medical needs he is simply the best!

Dr. Oiknine refused to prescribe the medication I need to stay alive, because he wanted to see me in his office more than every 6 months. My life is not as important as his paycheck. Please find another Dr. if you value your health.

Routine visit

There should be a better way to communicate then always getting a voicemail, especially when the pharmacy can't get a response & u are out of medication.

He has been the best for my thyroid. I have been going to him over 2 years.very professional and always looking out for me I highly recommend him

Very nice man and great doctor. Listens and individualizes treatment; when he's with you, you are his only concern. Working wonderfully with a family member.

I have been a patient for over five years and insulin dependent diabetic for forty years. Under his care I am now off insulin and managed with diet and meds. I am much healthier and have learned much. He is very knowledgeable and up to date plus wiling to take the time needed to teach me how to manage my diabetes while at the same time taking into consideration heart and kidney issues. He and his staff are very professional, yet friendly and caring.

Doctor is very knowledgeable explains things well gives samples of medications before he prescribes them to see if they work for you nursing staff answers questions in response to phone calls quickly

My internist wasn’t helping me. I had to get recommendations on my own to find an endocrinologist. Dr R Oiknine was recommended to me from the front desk of another endocrinologist office. That was impressive. I made an appointment and was very impressed. He is very smart, chooses his words wisely, so you don’t panic, professional and definitely good at treating your problem. My husband who is in the medical profession was also impressed. That says a lot

After being treated horribly by the Diabetic nurse at Cardinal Glennon I needed to find an Endochrinologist for my soon to be 18 year old. Dr. Oiknine was recommended by JDRF. He took my son as a patient even though he was so young. He treats my son with respect and really listens to him. He was immediately put on an insulin pump which Cardinal Glennon told my son he was too immature to use. As I said the nurse at Cardinal Glennon was a jerk. My son has been seeing Dr. Oiknine for 3 years and has never felt better since being Diagnosed 9 years ago. The absolute worst. I would not send my pet rat to this place. I went to Dr. Oiknine and he was arrogant and his staff is flat out rude. When asked to have my records mailed to me they said we don't do that, you have to access it on a computer. I don't have a computer. This place is beyond bad news.

Only had two Endocrinologists so not a grand fiend of comparison but I know a caring physician when I find one. Dr. Oiknine is both professional and caring with a good wit and nature. I highly recommend this doctor!

Recently switched from one endocrinologist to another. So glad I did. What a great team, from the front desk to the diabetes educator. Dr. Oiknine? Calm as calm can be. Great - really.

I have been a diabetic for 46 years and Dr. Oiknine is one of the most amazing diabetic specialists I have ever met. I didn't realize that I had the start of some kidney problems, never where discovered until Dr. Oiknine, now I have such a much better handle on so many things that are vital to me staying healthy.
