This Dr is AMAZING. When you get a cancer diagnosis it can be scary. This Dr put me at ease. He explained everything well and communicated after the surgery was over. His staff is helpful and efficient. I can't say enough good things about this Dr.

He was one the nicest doctors I have ever seen, and that is saying a LOT. I adore all my UTSW docs but he was amazing. So friendly, kept me calm, fast and thorough work, I felt nothing, and he made me laugh and had nice conversation with me. He even validated me when we discussed my other conditions and how they affect anesthetics, which is rare to find a doctor well versed in one particular uncommon condition. Highly recommend and his staff/MA was amazing too. I hope I don’t HAVE to go back obviously, but if I do, I will definitely see him again. Had the mohs procedure and Dr. Nijhawan did an excellent job and was great about the questions and concerns I had regarding the procedure! Although my anxiety was high, he helped keep my mind off what was going on.

I had the good fortune of being introduced to Dr. Rajiv Nijhawan, MD at UTSW dermatology, when Dr. Bentow discovered a Melanoma on the back of my right leg. Dr. Nijhawan was extremely knowledgeable and took all the time necessary to help me understand the problem, possible solutions and healing times. After the procedure, I had some unfounded concerns that arose over the weekend and left a message at his office. I was shocked when the doctor contacted me personally on both Saturday AND Sunday! That simply never happens apart from Dr. Nijhawan's office. All others wait until Monday and then you may get a call from the PE. Two thumbs up for Dr. Nijhawan, you will not be disappointed! I had MOHS surgery on my ear in April 2018. Dr. Nijhawan skills as a surgeon are excellent - and also he has a compassionate and caring manner. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Nijhawan is an amazing surgeon! He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough in explaining the procedure and always demonstrates his care and concern for you before, during and after procedure. He gives you several avenues to contact him day, night or weekends if you have any questions. I can attest to the fact that when I did call him, he personally called me back! He is “without a doubt” a tremendous asset to his patients and the field of medicine!!!

Why go to a standalone dermatological clinic with one surgeon and one technical nurse in a doctor office setting? Dr. Nijhawan, in addition to being a skilled, experienced, effective, and caring surgeon, provides treatment in a hospital clinic-like setting with assistance by other skilled physicians and multiple surgical nurses. The clinic has the latest equipment and is kept scrupulously clean. All this is available for the smallest to the most complex patient situation.

I highly recommend Dr Nijhawan in the UT Southwest Dermatology. He and his team performed MOHS surgery for me in October 2018. Everything was handled very professionally, from appointment scheduling to the consultation, the various steps in the surgery and followup. I never felt hurried and time was taken to answer all my questions. All the people who prepped me for surgery as well as Dr Nijhawan were friendly, supportive, and competent. They explained what was being done and what to expect.

Excellent procedure management and follow up care. Results could not have been more favorable.

What a great Dermatology surgeon, I have had 4 surgeries with Dr. Nijhawan and they have all turned out great. Very little scarring, and there were clear margins on ALL of my surgeries the first time. I have never had to get more taken in a second session. Very caring Dr., and he is the only surgeon that I would use.

Dr. rajiv.nijhawan is simply amazing. My last dermatologist screwed up her removal of a squamous cell issue on my head, leaving me with 12 stitches and an unsuccessful procedure. I was referred to Dr. N. by my new dermatologist and was treated with dignity and success. He is warm, friendly, professional, kind, and explains everything to you. I am healed and fully recovered thanks to Dr. N. I highly recommend him.!!

Dr. Nijhawan is an outstanding dermatologist. He is very professional and easy to talk too. I have had multiply Moh surgeries with excellent results along with many other procedures to control cancerous tumors and growths. He takes to time to explain things in layman's terms and spends plenty of time with you, not like many other doctors who are quick to get you in and out of their clinic. His staff is very friendly and polite and the wait times are always minimal.

Dr Nijhawan has performed multiple Moh surgeries on me during the last almost four years. These were basal cell carcinomas primarily on my face and neck, and they I were often located in difficult places for him to work. However, his skill and knowledge allowed him to perform these surgeries with no scarring or disfigurement. In addition, the entire clinic--staff, equipment, and operational philosophy--are first class. This reflects his concern for patients and shows why we live in Dallas.

I saw Dr. Nijhawan for a Moh's surgical procedure to remove a basil cell carcinoma on my upper lip, and I am so glad that I did. The care we received from Dr. Nijhawan and his staff was amazing and I am so glad that we chose to go through him and UT Southwestern for my surgery. The scar from the surgery is hardly noticeable at all and everything turned out great post-op as well thanks to his work. Dr. Nijhawan is a very talented and caring surgeon and I highly recommend him. Dr Rajiv Nijhawan removed a Basal Cell Carcinoma from my face.After consulting with other Dermatologists I chose him based on UTSW and referrals. The results of my surgery were outstanding with and high marks for his work and his professional staff.
