About Dr. Rajesh Kumar Bindal
Reviews for Dr. Rajesh Kumar Bindal
At first loved dr bindal i had a large 8mm herniated disc L5 S1 surgery went great exactly a year later it came back in same spot. He did another surgery and i suffered nerve damage he kept telling me it’s temporary. It’s been since 2020. He doesn’t want anything to do with you after surgery ur on ur own go find someone else. Now 2023 i have a herniated disc in exact same spot i will not let him touch me again. The nerve pain i deal with on a daily basis is horrible. He had an assistant Jessica and idk if she did the surgery and he watched or what but he blamed my nerves are conjoined and there was not enough room to work around them. He ruined my life I’m only 51 and feel 80
worst I can say is there where hiccups during after-care. Jessica did her best to address it all.
Dr. Bindal is a God sent. He is an amazing surgeon. His staff is awesome. They cared about my mom. We are extremely grateful ????
I waited 2 1/2 hours past my appointment time to see Dr. Bindal. When he finally came in he was abrupt, condescending and talked down to me like I was an idiot. Despite this he recommended physical therapy and seeing a pain doctor and I followed through with these. Ended up getting a second opinion--the opposite of Dr. Bindal and so glad I did. I cannot recommend him to anyone.
some front desk office person was just extremely rude to me over the phone. when i explained my situation the front desk lady treated me like an incompetent child only for them to realize THEY had made a mistake AND she didn't apologize! turns out they faxed my referral to the wrong fax # phone call me: I was supposed to have a referral sent to my physical therapist by now so I can make appts. I just tried to make an appointment and they don't have it yet mean front office lady sarcastically says: Well your appointment was Friday and was Monday a holiday (memorial day) Me: yes mean front office lady: well then why would you expect it by now on Wednesday? Me: Yesterday (Tuesday) was not a holiday Mean front office lady: oh ill check your file..... we faxed it yesterday... proceeds to almost hang up on me Me: wait can you tell me the number you faxed it to? i have their fax # right here Mean lady: puts me on hold while checks number. then cites wrong number. Me: thats the wrong fax # the correct one is # Mean lady: ok ill fax that right now.. hangs up on me lady if you had apologized i wouldn't be writing this some front desk office person was just extremely rude to me over the phone. when i explained my situation the front desk lady treated me like an incompetent child only for them to realize THEY had made a mistake AND she didn't apologize! … More
I only have 3 words. WORST. DOCTOR. EVER.
I chose Dr. Bindal for my back surgery about 3 months ago and I am very pleased with the outcome so far. I was in serious pain daily and doing simple chores was very difficult. The Doctor and his P. A. Took very good care of me before and after surgery. They were very responsive in addressing any questions or concerns I had. He even took the time to meet my kids and reassure them that I would be okay. My problem was lower back and sciatic nerve down left leg. I highly recommend a consultation with him before you make a decision on surgery. I chose Dr. Bindal for my back surgery about 3 months ago and I am very pleased with the outcome so far. If you would like to wait an hour to 90 minutes minimum, then be belittled and spoken down to by your doctor’s staff, by all means, book an appointment. Just make sure you don’t have anything else pressing to do that day!
I am not happy with their procedure. You spend more time with the medical assistant than you do with the doctor. The medical assistant talks to you then she goes and confers with the doctor. He doesn't ask any questions and tells you what he is going to do. He said i was not a candidate for surgery. I know it was due to my age but he would not say so I told him i am 79 years old but i told him i wasn'tyour average 79 year old. All he said is he knew i was tough. I am going to try injections and after that i don't want anything to do with this doctor.

I tried all the less invasive remedies for my Sciatica. (McKinsey exercise, lifestyle change, physical therapy, etc.) I could not stand or walk for 25 minutes continually. I got an MRI and I tried steroid injections which worked,...for three days. It was time for a microdiscectomy. Dr. Bindle, and his staff, were extremely confident this would remedy my situation. Here I am, one year later, and I am 100%. Do not get me wrong the surgery is not for the faint of heart, as the recovery is quite painful. Aspirin, ibuprofen, and Motrin are not enough to dent the post surgery pain (ask me how I know that!) It takes about two weeks before you can get around without pain. After a month, I was moving normally and after three months I was exercising again. Dr. Bindle, and his staff, were a joy to me. I know there were some negative reviews here, I can only relate my experience which was superior. I tried all the less invasive remedies for my Sciatica. I had a new appointment. Prior to calling I inquired about possible wait time. I was told I may have to wait 1-2 hours before seeing the dr. I expressed how I have 4 herniated disc in my neck and unable to drive. The receptionist stated, “so do you want to keep the appointment or not?” Sadly, there is staff and office of this inferior level. But I’m relieved I didn’t drive 30 miles plus, wait 2 hours for a 5 minute evaluation.
Really unprofessional don’t care about patients they just care about how to get that money $$$ doctor sent you with the other doctor for injection even he is no with network just to get you money I been 2 time to the doctor with pain come back with pain no solutions sent you for MRI waste money ,Time And still with the same problem ! That is fair they need to do something about this kind professional people! I saw Dr. Bindal for a second opinion. I came in with all testing, MRI, physical therapy, mylogram completed. His assistant Jessica spent time with me understanding how I had got to where I was and why other doctors were recommending another surgery. He took time with me, reviewed my case in detail and recommended surgery. Jessica and team made the surgery scheduling and pre op testing go as smooth as possible. I only saw Dr. Bindal twice but love how him and Jessica work in tandem with the cases. I highly recommend their office. I saw Dr. Bindal for a second opinion. Dr. Bindal performed a cervical fusion on me a couple years ago. I'm very pleased with his care, knowledge, and surgical skill. He took his time and explained all of my options and never pressured me towards surgery. I couldn't have been in better hands. I've had wonderful results and am in no pain.
Great doctor. Did not jump into surgery order one more test to pin point the issue. suggested surgery, The staff is very supportive they know what they are doing. Dr Bindal has great knowledge and very easy to talk to.
I had lumbar stenosis. Dr. Bindal performed the surgery. The pain was relieved almost immediately. and two weeks later I am back at work.
Dr Bindal is my husbands doctor. Honestly there isn't enough space here to leave the review he and his staff deserve. Dr Bindal and his staff went above and beyond working with our insurance company, surgery was scheduled quickly, Dr Bindal is a doctor that cares and he's very personable. We love Dr Bindal and so thankful that our general MD gave us his name as a referral. Billy's recovery has been better than I ever thought possible or expected, his pain and mobility gets better every day. When scheduling an appointment his staff is efficient and does their best to get their patients in quickly. The surgical reports were done timely so I could get them filed with our Aflac company. I give Dr Bindal and his staff a 5 star rating. Do yourself a favor by going to Doctor Bindal and see what he can do for you.
Dr. Bindal is an expert and a consummate professional. He truly cares about his patients and has an excellent bedside manner. He performed a disc replacement surgery on my cervical spine and the procedure went so smoothly—I woke up from surgery with all of my nerve pain completely gone. I would highly recommend Dr. Bindal. Having surgery, especially on your spine, can be an extremely scary prospect, but you will be in excellent hands with Dr. Bindal!
My husbands surgery was done by this ? His bedside manner is that of a pompous? Came out of surgery I am standing waiting for info on my husband. He is speaking to a friend that looks like him and I stood 20 mins waiting until he finished his bragging to find out how the surgery went. He spent 5 mins letting me know how great he is???? You are not to question him, you are the dummy he is the intelligent one. My husband went in with pain 6 months ago. Expense surgery took place .Pain is worse after surgery. We had an appointment at 10:45 a.m . Sat for 45 mins I ask was there a problem could not open disc???? 11:00 inquired again ask for co payment???? 11:50 asked again how long ?Answer not to long he has to leave at 12.???? 12:15 informed he went into surgery.???? Dr. Bindal performed surgery on me in June, 2018. Ten months later, I am still very happy with the results. I suffered sciatic pain for several months and tried various methods for pain relief as I was leery about seeing a doctor for surgery, until the pain became unbearable. After an MRI, Dr. Bindal diagnosed my pain as a mechanical issue which not get better without surgery. He explained that I had bone spurs between the L4 and L5 as well as stenosis which was squeezing the nerves, all o
Dr. Bindal and his staff took very good care of me and my cervical issues.
Dr. Rajesh Bindal, is THE BEST! I fell in love with Dr. Bindal as soon as he shook my hand. I had been off work for 5months. I had been from Dr. to Dr. I felt like the Drs. were afraid to help me and kept referring me off. When I saw Dr. Bindal he was so polite, he explained what he saw in my notes, and he explained what he was going to do. He did my surgery and I am soooo grateful to him because he gave me my life back. His office staff is just like him, sooo polite and professional as
What a rip off they are,,YOU must have a urine sample before seeing the doctor, MANDATORY,,and the lab will charge $8,700.00 , YES $8,700.00..BEWARE do not use this doctor or office. STAY AWAY
I underwent a Laminectomy & Discectomy procedure with Dr. Rajesh K. Bindal on May 1st, 2018. I entered the operating theater at 10:30 a.m. and was on my way home at 1:00 pm. Dr. Bindal’s skill and delicate handling of the surgery, meant that I did not need even 1 pain-killer after the surgery. I was able to walk and build my stamina walking about 8000 steps in 2-3 days after the surgery. His post-operative instructions were spot on and I am so glad everything worked as planned.

I ended up in Dr. Bindal's office because I heard great things about Texas Spine and Neurosurgery and I was looking for a second opinion. Texas Orthopedics wanted to fuse three neck vertebra. Dr. Bindal studied my MRI for about 30-45 minutes and he came up with a pinched nerve in my lower back. He did the minimal invasive surgery and now I can walk without a cane. First time in months. He will be working to do more as I have a long ways to go. Great doctor.

I'm typically not one to write reviews, but Doctor Bindal deserves praise above a paycheck for this patient. Having been in pain a number of years, received multiple injections in the spinal area, even visiting other surgeons, (that suggested work above what was required), Bindal's patience, confidence and experience is exactly what was required to repair the spine, and pinched nerve I had suffered for so many years. Three cheers for Rajesh ! I would refer him to everyone suffering similar pain

Fantastic experience! I had surgery for a pinched spinal cord. The other surgeon wanted to fuse my spine. Dr. Bindal fixed me with minimally invasive surgery. I am so happy I did not need a spinal fusion!

We first saw him in 2010 when my wife was in need of neck surgery, he explained the procedure to us in detail and assured us of good results. Indeed the results has been great as said. This month again, my wife was in need of a back surgery and indeed it was performed by Dr. Rajesh BIndal and the results is superb. He is the best.

I walked into Methodist Sugar Land Emergency Services June 1, 2017. I was promptly attended to and was checked into Neuro ward that day after CT. MRI for extreme lower back pain. Dr. Bindal"s assistant, Maty, discussed my test results and and options. I could tell she had done a thorough job in my evaluation. Once back surgery was decided, I was promptly attended to. I showed almost immediate improvement after surgery. From the moment I checked in I could not have been more pleased.

Unethical. Terrible. Disgusting. Referred by Pankiewicz. Waited over 3 hours. Extremely uncomfortable chairs. Forced to submit to lab test for meds. I gave them a complete list. Guess they didn't believe me. Told I would get bill from a lab, they didn't know how much. MRI's show severe cervical spinal stenosis. He said I have degenerative arthritis??? Would not allow any questions. He just walked out. That cost me $412. I have no insurance. Now wants more money for my records.
Horrible experience. After surgery, a surgery Dr Bindal recommended, not the one I had preferred, I was in extreme pain and had to see a pain doctor for ESIs. The 1st 2 helped but after the 3rd I was back in extreme pain again, bed ridden, could not even walk. Bindal ordered an MRI and EMG and prescribed some drugs. I did not hear from them for over 2 weeks and out of painkillers I asked for a refill and was treated as if I was a drug addict! Now I have to have the surgery I wanted in the 1st pl
Very professional, explained the procedure thoroughly, left his office very informed and relaxed about the upcoming procedure. Per my wife, he was comforting after the procedure and alleviated her stress regarding the surgery and my chances for recovery. Answered all questions she conveyed to him.

Dr. Bindal is the best of the best. I'm walking again thanks to him, and he did repairs and placed the correct parts in my back. After four back surgeries, Dr. Bindal is the best, wonderful bed side manner, and very caring. I would not use anyone but Dr. Bindal. He will be repairing my neck very soon.

Dr Bindal is a good surgeon but the wait time is ridiculous! For patients with spine/back issues, it's ridiculous to make them wait over 1- 2 hours for a scheduled appt. Would probably choose another dr who has more respect for his patients time.

During the appointment, which I had paid for before, Dr. Bindal walked in for less than 5 minutes. He didn't listen to my complaints, didn't even let me get a word in, and indirectly told me to find a new doctor. He was acting very rude and arrogant, and as a patient, I didn't appreciate his attitude towards me. I did not feel comfortable or confident in his abilities as other doctors have made me feel. I will find a new doctor and would not recommend Dr. Bindal to anyone.

His PA is the sweetest, kindest, most understanding of all PA's I'very met. And I've been to tons of them! I had a back fusion with another surgeon and still have PTSD from it. Dr.Bindal has the bedside manner of an Angel! He explained everything to me until he was sure I completely understood. I couldn't believe the amount of time he spent with me. He was referred by my daughter who had surgery with him. Surgery is soon and I have no fear of it with Dr. Bindal! Would recommend him to everyone!
Dr. R. Bindal really cares about his patient with an honest integrity with great compassion. I have a very good experience with him and his assistant Matty. I highly recommend Dr. R. Bindal to any of my friends or relatives who needs his Specialty. Thank you so much Dr. Bindal and his Staff. It's really good to be out of Pain...Touch by Healing Hands of Dr. Bindal.. Love you guys, Helen Santa Cruz
