Dr. Rajeev Sharma

Dr Sharma used to run the kidney and pancreas transplant program in Hershey, PA but I believe he has moved to Las Vegas now. However, I do have to write this review since I see the stark deterioration in the quality of care offered at Hershey transplant by the current transplant physicians. Dr Sharma was simply the best transplant surgeon I ever encountered. I am listed at other programs too but my visit with Dr. Sharma was most memorable. He took that extra time to connect with me and my family and explained everything in such detail that I feel like even I could do a transplant!! Jokes apart, He really took the time to explain everything clearly and from my research of online data his transplant outcomes were outstanding compared to other programs where I am listed. I really wish he was here since I will now have to travel from Hershey for my transplant. I just don't trust other transplant physicians at Hershey with my transplant as I trusted Dr. Sharma.

There have been quite a few transplant surgeons in Buffalo, NY but Dr. Sharma is by far the best. He did my kidney transplant, and saved my life. It has always been a pleasure to meet him in clinic, he always has a nice smile and is very polite and very friendly, more like a family member ! His staff, including Lisa and Karen are wonderful people as well. His practice is highly recommended.

Dr. Sharma is my surgeon; he is a wonderful guy, and always has a smile on his face. He is one of the most down-to-earth physicians I have met in my LONG life. He discusses the risks and benefits of the procedure in great details with complete honesty, and never misleads you. He is never in a hurry despite being awfully busy, gives enough time to ask questions, and answers them too. He is very knowledgeable, skilled, polite and just an amazing surgeon! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

Very Polite and courteous. Excellent physician who listens very carefully and answers all questions. Never rushes, gives patients adequate time to understand the problem and provides ample opportunities to ask questions. Very lucky to have physicians like him in Central PA.

Dr. Sharma is an amazing physician. He is very honest and very polite. He is a thorough gentleman. He is very knowledgeable and spends a lot of time with patients, listening carefully and patiently to the problems and explaining everything in detail in lay terms which one can understand. He is never in a hurry and he always gives us enough time to ask questions and answers all of them to our satisfaction. He is a very good surgeon, you can never go wrong in choosing him as your provider.

Dishonest, rude, arrogant. Is not concerned about the well being of his patients. Talks and talks and never listens. Likes to hear himself talk. Made my family member drive 3 hours to the hospital one night because blood work showed infection. Discharged her the next day on a Saturday. Said she was fine. She died one week later from infection. Don't let this danger man care for you or your loved ones.
