The wait is so long i had my app at 8:30 got there at 8:20 since I was kinda lost but anyways they called us to the room at 10:40 and the Dr was there for like 15 minutes the most!! He was kinda rude plus he seemed very annoyed and mad because my 4yr old autistic girl was crying because she was scared (she’s always like that in any Dr’s office) but she wasnt crying all loud i dont understand why work there if he knows his patients may be like this because of there condition!!! Poor experience at the Harlingen office. Both receptionists had an attitude and were extremely rude. Their paralanguage was overall disgusting. I’m not sure how unhappy one must be to be that rude. Our appointment was at 2:00, yet we were seen until 4:30. We respect the doctor and other patients time by arriving on time to the appointment; however, our time was not respected at all. So incredibly Disappointed to know that my family pays this Dr. a pretty penny for him to treat my grandmother in his office in San Luis Potosi Mexico and yet when asked to write a letter verifying that he is her treating Dr so that her grand daughter can fly out to see her he blatantly refused and will not even give an actual reason as to why!!! His staff seems to be clueless as to what they are doing and never call you back. Would highly recommend that you take your family members elsewhere and save yourself the headache of dealing with this office and Dr. I hope that if the Dr actually takes the time to read any of these reviews and sees this that he knows that our family will be considering other options for our grandmothers future care. Had to put a 1 star in order to comment, there is no -star options. No covid precautions in this office at all...no 6 ft distancing in lobby nor outside hall way lobby. Mind you the wait is always over 2 hrs. Don't see the point of questions and temperature checks at main entries if precautions all go out the window once in drs office. The children are obviously at his office for disabilities and disorders with 2-3 hr waits they are unable to be still, children are all over running and touching anything that will entertain them..so much for VBMC keeping ppl safe ! Don't recommend. My son had an appt and since we couldn't find the place so i contacted their office for directions because gps was taking me elsewhere. The secretary couldn't give me directions so when i did arrive i arrived 10 mins late and they decided to tell me when i got there they couldn't see me instead of letting me know on the phone before i arrived. If I could give this dr 0 stars I would. Worse dr ever! At least here in Brownsville. Appointment was at 8:30 and we didn’t see the dr till 11:30. Staff is not patient friendly and facility is crowded from the lack of appointment set up. If you can look for another dr at a surrounding city then do! I’m saving you time and agitation.

No! No! No! My initial visit for my son was 5 1/2 hrs of wait time. The rest have been nothing under 3 hrs. Most of the staff is ride & dismissive just like the dr. It's a good thing I don't stay quiet about things like this when it comes to my childrens' health...in any aspect. I let it be known I was upset on one occasion where they were being rude & called them out on it...loud enough for everyone to hear...not on a yelling level. They contradicted themselves on so many things instead of being humble & admitting they had wronged me. The doctor....even worse. This "DOCTOR 'S" bedside manners are less than mediocre. The fact he has a Phd does not mean he also has an education when it comes to properly treating patients & their family. He NEEDS to educate himself on THAT! I heard him label 2 children with names as if he were a bully in a school yard. Saying about one: oh ya this is the kid that stays home & complains a lot...ugghhh. How dare he! This doctor is amazing, he's helped my son since he was 5 days old with his epelepsy he's been such a blessing since I've met him!!! Staff is sweet n straight to the point! Best Neurologist ever!!!

He helped me so much with understanding ADHD and my son more. And all my son goes through mentally. Really opened my eyes. I did so on a Tuesday and they when i got there they saud the internet was down and they would send the info to the pharmacy as soon as it came back up. Needless to say its now Tursday and noting hasbeen done. AlAlso i called them today and wastold to call back tomorrow when tthey come back to the harlingen office. I went there today for my daughter to get an EEG. Appt was at 9am. I arrived at 9:05. Because I was 5 minutes late because I got stuck behind a train they said they were unable to see my daughter. I could have waited till 10 in hopes that the 10am appt didn't make it, by if they did make it then I would have to wait till the next one and so on. After asking the tech to please my daughter since she needs clearance for open heart surgery she continued to give me attitude and say I was late and it was my fault. Office staff,including manager,is not very friendly. They should at least smile considering this is a pediatric clinic.
