Careful, thorough analysis and discussion of problem with possible options to consider at the start. When surgery selected, she assured I fully understood what to expect, including recovery time and protocols. She did the same on the day of the operation and follow up and made it explicitly clear she could be called anytime if I had any concerns. The communications among her, her support staff, and others assisting her were excellent throughout. It truly was a pleasure having a potentially painful operation done by her. My recovery is proceeding right as she lead me to expect.

This is the third doctor I had to see due to my stress fracture of my ankle. She is amazing, she is very nice, listens to you, does what’s best for you, and truly cares. I would recommend her to anybody. I am on the right path now for my ankle to heal finally after year.

Dr. Shakked and the whole team at Rothman treated me with excellent care. From having an extreme injury to walking again is a blessing. I hope I don’t need this care but would not not hesitate to go back.

I had a previous foot surgery but it wasn’t complete & after having pain for a few years Dr Shakked was recommended & I feel blessed to have met her. She is an excellent surgeon she reconstructed my foot in September 22 & I can’t wait to fully heal. My foot is straight & the healing process although slow will be well worth it. I had no pain after surgery & still have non. It’s been rough being no weight bearing for 3 months but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have arthritis in my big toes that caused repeated ankle sprain for years (about 20 ankle sprains). Dr Shakked was my 5th doctor trying to resolve my issues and the only one to correctly diagnose and treat me. There is no other foot and ankle specialist I’ll ever go to! Yes, she’s that good and that attentive to the needs of her patients!

She takes a good look at the area of concern and at the updated X-rays as to the healing process. She then makes a determination on how to proceed. Dr. Shakked helped allay my fears about surgery, answered my myriad of questions with a smile on her face, and most importantly, her and her wonderful crew took great care of me from start to finish.

Dr Shakked rearranged her schedule to ensure my surgery was completed as timely as possible. I needed imaging studies quickly and she personally contacted a radiologist to expedite my studies. She is excellent and goes the extra mile for her patients. Additionally, Gina, is a highly competent, professional nurse who attends to every detail in the treatment process. Deffinatly feel they listen too, and undestand my problem

I’ve been going to Rothman for a few years and have had great service every time. I recently had surgery performed by Dr Shakked and she was amazing and so kind and thoughtful.

Dr Shakked is beyond amazing. Extremely thorough, and always takes the time to answer each and every one of my many questions. She goes above and beyond to provide quality care for her patients. I can’t say enough great things about her.

I’ve had chronic sprained ankles for 6 years. Dr Shakked accurately diagnosed all of the complexities of my injuries and what was causing them within two visits (my consult and post imaging follow up appt). 3 other physicians misdiagnosed me (a foot specialist orthopedic surgeon and 2 podiatrists). I’m very happy to finally have this addressed appropriately.

She has never followed up with my care!!! Never informed me when and where to get an MRI. Will never go there again

I had a very good experience at this providers office. I did not have to wait too long to be seen, everyone was pleasant, the facility was clean and appreciated the doctors handling of my questions and concerns. Everything was explained to me in a way I which I could understand.

Super professional and great service, best Medical attention!

I was quite satisfied with Dr Shakked. Both her skill and her kindly manner were excellent. I felt completely comfortable with her assessment of my situation and her plan for recovery. All good and reassuring.

The facility is super clean, warm and welcoming. All of the staff are incredibly personable, and Dr. Shakked and her team have exceptional bedside manner. My concerns were heard, and handled appropriately. Rothman is considered the best for a reason.

Unfortunately Rachael made a grave mistake... and attempted to cover it up. The radiographs she took in her own office showed in a manner so clear that 25 year old prosthetics had come out and fractured, a 1st year medical student could have seen it from 20 feet away. I was wondering why she refused to provide an interpretation to dr vakil, the requesting wound care physician. I suspect it was because she looked at the images, perhaps for the very first time, and realized she made a mistake. She was arrogant and dismissive, promoting high cost, and ineffective orthotics, instead of doing competent diagnostics and treatment. Really shame on her and her practice for not being truthful. Each subsequent surgeon I consulted recognized instantly from Shakked’s own radiographs that the cause of a draining wound gor 5 months was due to the failure of the devices. She was 30 min late to each appointment. Dismissive and jnfocused. Thorough with full explanation of results treatment and care

Dr. Shakked is one of my favorite doctors. She is knowledgeable skillful and calm and I felt that I was in very good hands in my two surgeries with her. She also has an excellent bedside manner and I felt so comfortable with her. If I am injured again I will definitely go to her!

Dr. Shakked amputated my husbands (57) left foot back in April of 2018. She has excellent bedside manor and explains things in an easy way to understand is very supportive for the patient and family. Her communication with our prosthetic guy (Steve at Valley Prosthetics) prior to surgery made the transition extremely smooth and he is already walking with his prosthetic. I liked her. Perhaps, it was a bad day for her. I waited a little over an hour after doing the questionnaire. When I was finally called into the office, I looked at my watch. She came in and we discussed my situation and she recommended PT and had a script given to me. I asked her if she would be coming back, and she said, "no, I've already been with you for fifteen minutes. I had more questions, but I didn't have the opportunity to ask them. P.S. No apology for the hour wait either.
