Dr. Luc gave our infant an overreaching and wildly inaccurate prognosis without a thorough examination, causing unnecessary pain and distress. She suggested etiology without proper knowledge of medical history. She has a very odd and uncomfortable way of speaking with parents, including keeping her eyes closed for extended spells and leaving long uncomfortable silences. She is curt and unfriendly, for no apparent reason. If you’ve had a negative experience with her, take heart that you are not alone. There are so many better options in Los Angeles and even within CHLA. What a bizarre and awful interaction we had with this person.
We have been seeing Dr. Luc since 2012. She is awesome, kind and is a perfectionist at her speciality. Her front end staff is fantastic and although we have to wait, it is worth it. She is responsive and is caring to my son.

Dr. Luc is very knowledgeable and thorough! She was so good with our 2 year-old daughter and prompt with us on the blood work results. I appreciated the fact that she had good attention to detail and personally called us herself to discuss the lab results. We've seen several doctors at Children's (Dr. Luc here in L.A. and a few in another state). Dr. Luc, by far, was the best with follow-up. So glad we got our daughter in to see her!
