Quinton Gopen

Dr. Gopen is friendly and is a wonderful doc and skilled surgeon. He spends his time with me and answers all of my questions to my satisfaction; never makes me rushed. He repaired my SSCD though a tiny keyhole incision and gave me my quality of life back. Thank you, Dr. Gopen!

Shouldn’t give up his patients -Very disheartened

This doctor is a great Doctor. If he sees you. You are lucky to have an expert like him.

I first met Dr Gopen 13 years ago when he practiced at The Dana Faber Cancer Institute. He was part of my dream team there that successfully removed a large Parotid Gland tumor. I was only 38 at the time with 3 young children. It was a shock to hear that I had such a rare form of cancer. After surgery, chemo and radiation, I went on to lead a blessed, healthy life. I recently contacted Dr Gopen due to facial pain and numbness. Those were symptoms I experienced when my tumor first reared it’s ugly head. I figured who better to discuss these new symptoms with than someone who knew my history. Dr Gopen was as kind, patient, and knowledgeable as I remember him to be 13 yrs ago. He spent over 30 minutes with me discussing what could be going on and ordered imaging to rule out various possibilities of causes, mainly the return of cancer. Fortunately, I am still cancer free, he prescribed a medication to calm down nerve pain, and I am feeling better. THANK YOU Dr Gopen, and your staff at UCLA. Proffesional, caring, highest level of expertise, communicative. This man left his sons birthday party to check up on me. Excellent staff from phones to bedside and follow-up care. High scores in ALL.

Dr. Gopen is a great doctor. He did a repair of my inner ear after Dr. Yang did my craniotomy. Together they make an outstanding team! I highly recommend Dr. Gopen and Dr. Yang.

Dr. Gopen has been of great help with my complex issue. He is attentive, responsive, and willing to do his best to help. I find Dr. Gopen listens with intent and spends ample time in a clinic visit. Emails are answered promptly and attempts are made to avoid traveling through LA traffic to come to a clinic visit. His staff is friendly and will do what they can to coordinate anything you need. I have appreciated Dr. Gopen through my care.
