Doctor Shah, was very caring and professional. He explained every step that would be taken during my Mother’s cataract surgery. She has great vision now…Almost, too great ???? NOTHING gets passed her now. ????????????

Excellent and caring physician. He did my cataract surgery. Previously he handled an emergency situation during my first week in Nola. He was compassionate and cared for me.

Great experience.

Dr Shah and his staff are amazing!

Everyone was very professional, caring & efficient during my pre op visit.

Dr Shah was very clear and thorough in explaining the surgery and what to expect.

What can I say? He is the best. I'm day 3 into the aftermath of the procedure (lasik) and I have no complaints just praises. This doctor did an amazing job. That very night after it was done I was already reading signs further than my glasses allowed me to. Even with a stigmatism in my right eye I am able to see great. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Shah and his team, who performed Lasik. Dr. Shah is well-versed in the science behind the procedure, patient when answering questions, and thoroughly explained what I could expect. Amazing ochsner eye surgeon with super support staff and access to excellent diagnostics. Do your research on what you want. He can do it

Dr. Pulin Shah was recommended to me by my son. He had his eye operated on by Dr. Shah and was very pleased with his expertise and skills. I had my eye surgery done by dr. Dr Shaw and staff are professional and kind. They were are articulate, friendly and true to their word and schedule.

Dr. Shah was very helpful with my mom answering all her questions, he is very professional in what he does, all I could say is vey positive things about him. The best doctor ever!!!!

No waiting! I got right in! Dr Shalh’s staff was prompt to answer my messages on MyOchsner. Dr Shah and his assistant were caring and took time to answer my questions and give me the answers I needed. I visited another eye surgery office and I did not have the care I received here. I am very grateful. Plus, the out of pocket expenses for near and distance lens is much less than the other location! No waiting! I got right in! I have been a patient of Dr. Shah’s for several years. He is an extraordinarily gifted surgeon and kind man. His attention to my care and my concerns has always been for the highest quality of treatment and patient care. I trust and respect him without reservation.

Dr. Shah took his time and explained everything to me. He asked me several times if I had any questions or concerns. He definitely made me feel comfortable and I would recommend him any day

My experience at Dr. Shahs office was excellent. He was thorough in explains everything to me about the surgery. The entire team was in sync to make me feel comfortable and at ease.

Dr Shah was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We discussed different lenses. He explained that he would decide during surgery after measuring my eyes exactly which lens to use. I liked that his approach was not cookie cutter and would be tailored to exactly what I needed.

Dr. Shah can barely conceal his contempt for his patients. He wears his arrogance on his finely tailored jackets. Warning flag that I should of listened to was during my third appointment, Shah asked me "tell my why you are here". Apparently reading my chart was beneath him.

Very trustworthy, honest, and friendly. He did an excellent job on my Iris fixation. I wish I would have used him for my cataract surgery to begin with. I would highly recommend him.

This is probably the worst medical experience I've ever had. Bad enough that I've never written a review, but here one is. I saw Dr. Shah in September for a LASIK consultation. When I spoke with Dr. Shah, he said it's $75 for the consultation. Ok. I paid $75 for the consultation, which lasted about five minutes. The LASIK procedure itself was on the expensive side but Dr. Shah explained he'd earned a post-doc or what-have-you that somehow improved his ability as it pertains to LASIK. Ok. Reasonable. If you're touching my eyes I'd really like you to know what you're doing. After some thought I decide I'll have the surgery in the Spring. I don''t tell him yet, going to have to schedule it later, because grad school's consumed my life. I go home. Then he sends his bill. Apparently, my $75 and whatever he scrounged from my insurance wasn't enough. I called and explained that I was a grad student, only had the $75, and he didn't DO ANYTHING. He didn't give me a new prescription (which, at Costco, wouldn't cost the $150 he was trying to extort from me). I'd brought my very recent prescription. But no, his office was uninterested in working with me. Well, the joke's on those jerks. Now, I won't go there for my LASIK surgery. They lost out on revenue! I'm even planning on avoiding Ochner, now. All that to say, this guy's a scam. Don't go there for his consult. This is probably the worst medical experience I've ever had. Amazing doctor. Really cared about my health and safety. Excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Shah came highly recommended by our ophthalmologist. He performed two surgeries on my husband. He was very thorough and reassuring which meant a lot to us because my husband only has one eye. His office staff was very friendly and professional. He seems to love what he does and it shows. He was never in a hurry.
