Please allow me to say that "Dr. Katta is Truthfully The Best". Prior to 2020, my health was way out of track, putting me in a high risk zone. After changing my primary care physician to Dr. Katta in 2020, I received high quality treatment and care. He layed out a treatment plan using the latest medical knowledge and within six months, my health came back on track. This can fully be attributed to Dr. Katta's excellent, efficient & caring service. He patiently listens, discusses and advises the pros and cons in a way where I know exactly where I stand and what I need to improve on. After leaving from my appointments, I don't have any lingering questions because he is methodological and his instruction has a confidence that takes the worry off of my shoulders. He ALWAYS replies to my questions either in person or by his web portal. In one serious situation I faced, he was so instrumental and in constant contact with multiple doctors to ensure my speedy recovery. Overall, his patient care put me on track in a way where I only have to take two low dose medications.

This dude is completely clueless about the effects of low testosterone. If your labs for T levels are low, avoid this guy at all costs or anybody from Washington Township Medical Foundation. They are clueless

Dr. Katta is simply the best! He became my endocrinologist when my previous doctor moved away from the practice which was over 18 years ago. He takes care of my thyroid function and treats me for my osteoporosis. 4 years ago I moved to Sonoma County from Fremont and still continue to see Dr. Katta. I see him twice a year and driving back to Fremont for my appointments despite the traffic is so worth it. During my appointments Dr. Katta takes the time to listen and answer questions. He never just rushes out to end the visit and makes sure I'm comfortable and satisfied with the appointment. Dr. Katta cares about his patients and it shows. I'll never forget when my when my children and I went to see my husband when he was hospitalized with a rare condition. We just got out of the elevator as Dr. Katta was coming down the hallway and he walked right up to greet us and then asked who we were seeing. I explained the situation and he wished us well. A few weeks later I had an appointment with him and when he walked into the exam room the first thing he asked me was how my husband was doing. He remembered and really cared! Great doctor with excellent table side manners. A little aggressive with treatment plans but worked well for me when my numbers were out of whack. Dr. Katta brought them back under control in 6 months.

This is the first time I ever write a review for any kind of service but I decided to write a review about Dr. Katta's work ethic and his professionalism because I would like to bring hope to those who are struggling with uncontrollable diabetes. Dr. Katta is a great endocrinologist who I have known for over 15 years. He is a dedicated and caring physician who will go the extra miles for his patients. He will take his time during the visit to individualize each patient plan of care. During my years working in the hospital, I have noticed that Dr. Katta is the only physician who manages his diabetic patients closely based on carbohydrate count with each meal intake. My mother has a long-term history of Diabetes. For the past two years, her Hemoglobin A1C was in the 13-15% range. She had signs of increased protein in her urine which can, in turn, lead to permanent kidney damage. She resided in Los Angeles but I decided to bring her to see Dr. Katta for diabetes management because I trust his medical knowledge and judgment. For the past four months, with his close observation and management, my mother's blood glucose has improved significantly. Her last Hemoglobin A1C was 6.2%. In addition to oral diabetic medications, my mom follows his individual sliding scale for insulin injections daily. Dr. Katta also prescribed Trulicity injection weekly. This medication works in conjunction with diet and exercise to improve glycemic control and weight loss. Dr. Katta currently is not only my mom's endocrinologist but also her primary care physician. Dr. Katta has been my eighty six year old father's primary care physician for more than two decades. He is caring, professional and committed to helping his patients. As my father's caregiver, I can count on Dr. Katta for quick advice. He returns calls or emails right away. Once, he called on a Saturday to alert me that my father's potassium level was dangerously high. He gave me instructions on what to do to help reduce the potassium. Other times, my father has administered the wrong amount of insulin and Dr. Katta has advised us on how to adjust the remaining dozes of insulin. My father is blessed to be under Dr. Katta's care. I was referred to Dr. Katta by my eye doctor who said he’d had patients who were able to get their diabetes under control through him. I was not controlling by diabetes at the time and was looking for a new doctor so I went in to see him. From the beginning he was very concerned with helping me get it under control as my A1C was so high. Through medications and following up with him every 3 months I got my A1C down to 6.8-7.6 within a few years. Now, he’s been guiding me on my medication reduction as I have been on a diet using Noom and Optavia. I email him what my glucose readings have been throughout the day and he would tell me what to reduce or remove to keep my glucose from getting too low. It’s been 2 months and I am down to 1 daily pill and 1 weekly shot for diabetes and have lost 40 lbs. Dr. Katta has talked to me about making this a lifestyle change and not just a change for the next 3-6 months so that I can be successful in keeping my diabetes under control. He has worked with me as a partner knowing that I am trying to take my health back and live a longer and better life. I would totally recommend him to anyone who is struggling with their diabetes. I absolutely don’t like to write bad reviews in fact this is my first bad review as it may hurt business. Office staff is really rude, sneaky and don’t want to help. I took yearly routine appointment for my daughter but they charged me for the visit. I wouldn’t mind paying for it but they were not upfront about it. When I called office Shenina told me that it is office protocol to first give establishment appointment. I would have appreciated if they would have told me when I took appointment or when we came in for appointment. When I persisted to change charge code she put me on hold. I waited and realized she is not coming back so I called in again. This time she checked doctor’s notes and said my daughter discussed other health related question that’s why I’m being charged. They should tell exact reason why I’m being charged Is it because it’s “establishment appointment” or is it because my kid discussed health question. They should clarify first appointment will be billed to patient as it is not yearly routine. Also tell patient not to talk to doctor otherwise they will be charged. Good doctor but I had an incident that knocks off a star. I needed a prescription refilled for my my mother. Its been three days since pharmacy faxed them but its still not filled. Not sure if it is doctor's fault or hospital.

Although i never got a chance to see the doctor as I was refused to be seen by doctor JUST BECAUSE I DONT HAVE AN INSURANCE CARD??
