Excellent service.

Unfortunately Dr Nayak got behind with his patients Otherwise his time and attention were excellent

Dr. Nayak is an excellent cardiologist. I have known him for over 13 years. In my opinion Dr. Nayak one of the most engaging and caring providers that I've encountered. He always takes the time to explain in detail, pays attentions to all my concerns and finds appropriate solutions. 1

We visited over the phone (because I had shingles and was in a lot of pain) and we could see each other which made it seem as if it were an in-person visit. Dr Nayak asked all the questions he wanted and got all the answers he needed as did I so it worked out very well. I like Dr Nayak because he is very professional and at the same time very friendly. and easy to talk to.

My former cardiologist sadly left Virginia, thus, I ended up in Dr. Nayak's office for continued ongoing care, having chosen him carefully based on his expertise and decades-long experience with adult congenital heart concerns. He had been acquainted at some point with all of my cardiac care team providers up until the date I ended up in his office, to include my surgeon from 1975! Dr. Nayak has a lovely, sincere, welcoming, collaborative (yet highly grounded and knowledgeable) manner about him. He takes his time, takes all questions/concerns seriously; responds with succinct, laypersons' language without being patronizing, and made me feel like an important individual (not chart number) as a newly-established patient of his. He explained the rationale and timing for all testing and procedures he ordered. He's a rare-breed consummate medical professional; I'd highly recommended.

We appreciate the personalized, considerate care we always receive from all the staff at Virginia Heart. Dr Nayak provided us with a insight into Geoffrey's individual circumstances, answering all our questions as much as anyone could.

Dr. Nayak continues to be one of the most engaging and caring providers that I've encountered. He takes the time to explain the details, but in a way you can understand. Then, he sits down with you to ensure there is a clear path forward. Excellent.

I am a new patient of Dr. Nayak. I didn't know what to expect but this visit was by far the best Doctor's visit I ever experienced. Dr. Nayak was extremely thorough. He did not rush my appointment, he explained everything to me and laid out a plan of action. I also have to commend the check-out person I dealt with. She was also thorough and scheduled all my test and created a nice neat packet for me to be organized. I am a new patient of Dr. Nayak. Incredible! Took time to explain in detail my medical condition. Ordered testing that should have previously been ordered by my prior physician but was never mentioned or ordered. Called me with the results and explained the next steps with me. Most OUTSTANDING Cardiologist I have ever seen!

I was in the ER recently, and for observation as my breathing was difficult. Any way after a trying time, when I call to make an appointment. They tell me I can see only the PA I am given an appointment for Nuclear test. I called back to say...I do not want my insurance to pay the PA as much as the Cardiologist and asked what discount they would show. When none was the answer. I said I refuse to pay for PA equal price. I was told I would be able to get an appointment after the dead line of the ER visit. Dr. Nayak is an excellent cardiologist and skilled internist. Their nursing and their administrative staff are responsive and competent. Virginia Heart is a large practice with numerous offices. I often call their office and leave my phone number on their recording. I have always gotten a return call in a timely fashion.

I get stress test by sitting on a bench and doing nothing. The machine does it for me. Do not understand if it is accurate. I got out of ER and was instructed to call the office. I dutifully did that when I was given an appointment with a PA? shows a lot of caring I guess
