I have been seeing Dr. Brown for years now, and have nothing but gratefulness for her. She is a professional through and through, and has such a genuine and caring approach towards her patients. I have experienced very complex challenges, involving trauma in my distant past as well as recent years (the reason I initially went to see her) and she has very honestly changed my life for the better. I myself work in psychology and have seen clinicians who do the bare minimum - Dr. Brown does so much within her sessions. She establishes a support system but healthy boundaries, and I have walked away equipped with coping skills and insights that even as a mental health professional myself would not have otherwise had. Six years ago I was going through some occupational relatedness issues with my supervisor and I was referred to Dr. Brown. She has helped me work through these issues and also other deep seeded issues that we have been working on these past six years. I have been in and out of counseling all of my life and Dr. Brown has been able to ”speak my language.” She is the most compassionate, genuine, and patient therapist I have ever had.
