Dr. Phillip L. Beaulieu JR.

Dr Beaulieu is very compassionate and listens to me about my pain to help find the best treatment plan for me. I've been his patient for several years and have seen a lot of staff come and go. Some of his staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate at times but he didn't tolerate their behavior and they're no longer working in his office. He now has a very pleasant and respectful staff as of February 2023.

He sounds Hideous. I was actually looking for his number but stumbled across the reviews. I feel like we pay them for the services they provide and we should walk out of every visit a happy, paying customer. This is pain management not rocket science. We hurt, they give meds. That's how it's supposed to be. But they have made so much money off simply writing their names that they feel powerful and better than the people they see. I'll look elsewhere and I suggest everyone else do the same with these reviews.

Dr Bealieu is a good doctor. The staff, not so. I have a disabling disease. I complied fully. Out of the blue, the office called claiming I owed x on my bill. I provingly did not. After two more bouts w wrong amounts, they realized I was correct. Then they accused me of failing an on site drug test, which was impossible, further, the doctor reviewed & approved it! They said I couldn't return. They never sent a thing to my primary doctor,nor a letter to me. They were 100% in error. I am aghast.

I have been a patient of Dr. Beaulieu’s for a few years. He is FANTASTIC! He’s caring, compassionate, and has the expertise needed.

Dr. Beaulieu is a no-nonsense professional who always has my best interest at heart. He works to help me make the best decisions for my issues. I have never felt judged or questioned by him. I do prefer seeing him rather than a PA.

Dr Beaulieu is the best doctor I have ever had to perform the procedures I have had over the past 7 years. He has always done a phenomenal job with helping my Back and hip issues. I will follow him whenever he goes. Thank you Dr Beaulieu so so much!

Dr. Beaulieu has always treated me with respect and listed to my problems. I would not let anyone else give me an injection.

Great doctor but the staff never respond to phone calls - just can't be bothered.

I was with the clinic that this group bought out for 13 years. Never missed a medication count nor failed a drug test. When this Dr came in he was so rude and acted as though he was better than me. Dr. Beaulieu is always very professional yet personable. He is kind and compassionate physician. He is the only one I would allow to do spine injections on me. His calming presence and his perfection when doing these procedures is amazing. His staff is great too. They can be a little hard to get in touch with but they are so busy.

Stellar Physician! Initially I was referred to him by my ortho-spine Dr for an RFA. Wasn’t sure what to expect but everything went off without a hitch. From the initial nerve block tests to the actual procedure, his care was excellent! After a couple weeks of letting the procedure take effect, I was back to work. Only a couple months in and I slipped a disc. My ortho recommended Epidural injections. Not sure why but they sent me to another facility initially. The second one was done wrong so I ended up back with Dr B. I had complete trust in him and knew he would do the procedure correctly. In my particular case my nerve was so inflamed I had some pain, yet I can already tell he got it right. He is so thorough, precise, soft spoken, calming and talks to you while he’s working to get your mind off of it. I will not go to anyone else ever again should I need another procedure!

He is a terrible doctor and not nice at all. He does not care about you and doesn't listen. Beware!!

I have been going to this place for years when dr. Mehta was there at first I don't know what they did to dr. Mehta to get rid of him but he was the best doctor there so I decided to stay here and after the years there started to be some discrepancies one time they told me that I had morphine in my system when I was taking hydrocodone come to find out there was about four or five people who end up having morphine in their system so it was the lab that was at fault but they could have sworn up and down I was taking morphine then turn around this year I got sick habits been to my doctor's office they call for a pill check and I live in Smyrna so I I couldn't make it to Nashville they told me I had 24 hours to get there I still couldn't make it because I was sick with the flu turn around they call me two days later and told me I was discharged I told them they could call my doctor and check with him and he could tell them that I was sick know they wasn't hearing it they told me it didn't matter I had to come in so therefore I got discharged! Dr Beaulieu, Ivana and Danielle are wonderful. I have had numerous medical treatments all the way back to when it was AMG. They are truly compassionate and treat you with respect. I have had prescriptions for pain due to 2 total knee replacements. If you take your meds as prescribed there will be no "accusatory" comments to you..... I highly recommend Dr Beaulieu. He is very thorough, very technical and pays attention to every detail. He is exactly what I would want in doctor helping me manage pain with both cervical and lumbar injections and ablations. He answers my questions and is not in a hurry. I really appreciate his knowledge and advice as we workare working to manage the pain.

I went to this doctor on Monday July 11,2019. Didn't see him but saw his nurse practitioner doctor Minton. when I signed in the front desk person told me I owe them $109 for the life of me I was trying to figure out why. She told me that my insurance company didn't pay all of my drug test and I looked at her like that's not my problem I pay my copay and once I pay my co-pay that's it for me but she said that I had to pay them because of it where to me as I used to take up billing and coding that looks like it's double dipping because whatever the insurance didn't pay they have to write off and they're not supposed to get it from me so I called the insurance company and explain to them they couldn't figure out the life of me what was going on either so what we found out was dr. Mitten went out of network for 6 weeks then when I saw her then she come back into Network three days later for the life of me she's never done this and I'm trying to figure out why did she do it. Charge me over!

I started going to this doctor when it was AMG Pain management, so about 6 months ago. On my second visit he asked me to quit taking a medication he didn't prescribe to me so I did. I went back the nurse assistant counted my meds and put it in the computer. When he walked in he asked why I only had 2 of the pills that I quit taking. I said I have 32 left. He counted them then informed me the nurse assistant put it in the computer wrong and my counselor told me not to quit taking any other medications that he's not prescribing to me that I need them. I went back last month and I've never seen so much stress out of a staff like it was there. Nurse assistant putting stuff in the computer wrong again. I go back today and another woman counted my meds and entered it into the computer. Another doctor walks in and said we're not giving you your pain medication because you felled you drug test last month. I told her there is no way. I've never in my life taken the medications that she said I felled for. I told her there has to be a mix up on the test. She insisted that it wasn't so I asked them to test me and they did. I asked what did it show they stated we don't test it here we send it to a lab. They made 2 MISTAKES BEFORE BUT INSISTED THIS ONE WAS NOT A MISTAKE!!! I was informed he will call you Monday and let you know if you can have your medication. Monday is the day after I'm suppose to get my refills. If he refuses I will not go to a hospital when I start getting sick from not having my medication instead I will let it kill me and pray my family sues them for a mix up on a urine test. An autopsy will show the medications they accused me of was never in my system. This office is a SCREW UP yet they won't admit they make mistakes. I strongly suggest you go to another Pain Clinic... Dr Beaulieu is knowledgeable & helpful. His staff? Not at all. I have never been to such a dishoveled place. I have, since inception, received incorrect billing. I received three calls in one week, with the bill tripling, yet I hadnt been there! On top of that, insurance covered my visits! Id heard other patients complaining, and thought nothing about it, until it happened to me! After this was addressed, real craziness ensued. I was then told Id failed my drug test. I literally have never heard of the drug they claim showed up! I take only what I am prescribed, period. Further, when the doctor asked me to stop filling another medication, I did. Im not a child, Im almost 60 years old. This is not a game to me, nor fun. I have a severe, advanced disease, requiring me to take pain medication, and injections. My previous doctor, as well as Dr Beaulieu, told me Id be on pain meducation the rest of my life. I also have other serious health problems, including my heart, that can be affected by stopping a medication without tapering. Best dad ever

He is the best . He listens to you and is very sensitive to any problems you have . He takes great care of you

Dr. Beaulieu is a master at spinal injections. He has performed this procedure on me twice, and I have experienced no pain whatsoever. I recommend him very highly!

He has given me steroid injections in back twice and I will not think of letting anyone else doing this. He is professional and I have had great outcomes both times! I am a RN and very particular and this man exceeds my standards!!!!

Less than wonderful. Nice guy and all but his efforts at pain relief — RF ablation procedure — failed. Second attempt with a spinal had no effect, either. What made me a bit suspicious was a rapid change of clinic ownership and location in the middle of the process. Given the scrutiny around pain clinics these days, it made me wonder.

I have no idea why anyone would rate Dr. Beaulieu with low scores. He is exceptional and takes the time to explain all options available. Extremely please with his service and care!

Very good doctor, excellent bedside manner.

This man treated me like I was a junky looking for a pain med to abuse. I am a cancer survivor with issues from radiation scarring leaving me in massive pain. He didn't care at all about why I was there, didn't answer any of my questions and talked over me the entire time not even paying attention to me asking how we can fix these problems so no meds are needed. How can a doctor not have an answer for that kind of question. He just writes scripts to whomever he feels worthy, all others just RUDE

Without learning about my medical history ...i was treated as if i was a crack addict seeking pain meds to get high...i found beaulieu and his staff to be accusatory...racists...and inflicting their political and personal views on to their patients concerning pain medication.

Very sensitive to my needs. Patient and true concern shown. Both PA's are ESSENTIAL to the contribution of patient care at this office.

Dr Beaulieu, Ivana and Danielle are all wonderful. Dr B has done numerous procedures on me. He has truly helped my quality of life. He also respects me, which creates a positive Dr/patient relationship.

This was my first visit to STSS and I was very apprehensive about this type of procedure. He is a wonderful physician who listens and truly cares for his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Beaulieu for spinal infusion procedures.
