Dr. Philip Walther

I thought highly of Dr Walter and would still be his patient.He quit having appointments at Duke at least for me

I would Never recommend this man to anyone! He treated my husband for renal cell cancer at Duke over a period of six years. It was impossible to get a return phone call from he or his nurse. Both were so cold, non caring- truly terrible humans. On multiple occasions when my husband was admitted to Duke under a different service such as neurology or the emergency room, dr walther as the original oncologist, could not even be bothered to do necessary paperwork to allow us to leave when the time

In May of 1999 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, in late July Dr. Walther performed my lymph node dissection. It took 8.5 hours. I stayed at DUMC for a week and was sent home to continue to heal. Follow ups went from every 3 months to 6 to once a year. It is now 6/27/2016. Thank you, Dr. Walther.
