I never write reviews but felt I needed to as my experience with Dr. Straka and his team were exceptional. I explanted with him a little over a week ago and feel like I have my life back again! The recovery has been a breeze and my new breasts are better than I could have imagined. This surgery truly saved my life and I am so glad I found Dr. Straka!

I would recommend Dr. Straka to anyone. He and his staff are nothing short of amazing. I felt comfortable from the second I arrived for my consultation and thru the entire process. Dr. Straka and his staff took exceptional care of me and I love my results!!!!

I explanted on the 24th of August and everything went very smooth. The procedure was on time and lasted exactly how long he said it would. He and his team are phenomenal at preparing you for what to expect before and after the procedure and are always welcoming to calls and emails at all hours if you are having any issues or complications. I can not say enough about how incredibly amazing Dr Straka and his staff are! They are so very thoughtful, caring and thorough! His 25+ yrs experience is exceptional! I had McGhan saline textured implants (test results showed staphylococcus inside the saline) for 25 yrs with 8 yrs of symptoms. An integrative practice brought BII to my attention and thankfully I found Dr Straka in my area! What a God send! I am 6 weeks post-op and I am feeling fantastic! Dr. Straka, his staff and the facility are incredible. Dr. Straka is the most competent plastic surgeon I've ever encountered (I've come in contact with several for my own needs and for 2 of my children who had to have procedures). He's compassionate and caring and has a kind bedside manner. He and his staff members are friendly and they know what they're doing. The office is immaculate and clean. Dr. Straka gave me my life back. That sounds rather extreme, but in my case, I'd been sick for 9 months with a variety of symptoms, including severe fatigue, brain fog, body aches, weakness, and more. When I finally considered that the cause might be Breast Implant Illness (BII), I returned to my original plastic surgeon...who denied the existence of BII. After investigating three other surgeons, I chose Dr. Straka for his honesty, expertise, and care. I wasn't sure how much of a difference explant surgery would make for me, but Dr. Straka made no guarantees while noting what he'd seen in the evidence and in his practice, as well as detailing the process and recovery. I cannot make guarantees for anyone else either, but within two weeks after surgery, I was back to feeling like myself again! Dr. Straka got all of the implants and scar tissue out, and that seems to have been the primary factor in returning me to health. I am so glad to have my body back ... I just wish I'd done it sooner! Dr Straka is the quintessential surgeon ... An experienced, perfectionist and artist focused on the safest and most effective treatment for his patients. I wasn't an easy case, but he talked me through his thought process and the results were better than I expected! His staff is top notch (and have been with him forever) and I love knowing I can do everything at his office. No driving to downtown Houston for "luck of the draw" hospital/staff and anesthesiologist---it's all done in his Kingwood office with his amazing staff. And I didn't have to stay overnight anywhere! There were zero surprise charges or costs. (No separate hospital or anesthesia fees!) He accepts Credit Care and I chose the 6 mos, no interest payment plan. I had removal of implants and a Breast lift by Dr Straka in March of 2020. I am writing this review 1 year and almost 1 month since my surgery. I am very disappointed in my surgery. My follow-up appointment was terrible. He was teaching me cupping and while doing so accidentally opened up my incision. He then took me in a procedure room and sutured the area he reopened. That delayed my healing time. Then I called him because I have an area under my left Breast that is painful to touch and I can only describe as an area of excess skin that appears like a bubble. I can’t wear anything low cut like a Bathing Suit because it shows. When I called him about it after discussing it with him twice he said he would be “glad to make it right”. Well, fast forward 1 year and 1 month I’ve never been called. After several calls and several messages I just gave up. He made all kinds of statements indicating he wanted me to be happy and never followed through. On top of all that his office staff wanted to charge me for sutures. Really? Dr. Straka knows exactly what he is doing! He did my BAM and the whole process what seamless. My friends who did BAMs with other doctors told me it would take 6-12 months for me to see my final results but as little as 4 weeks, I was loving my new breasts and looking quite natural already! I am knowledgeable regarding both his exceptional skills in the Operating Room and his personable bedside manner. Dr. Straka is a gifted surgeon who is meticulous and detail-oriented in his work. His bedside manner is impeccable, both caring and professional. Dr. Straka is highly-regarded by both the physicians and nurses who work alongside him. I have a 25-year history of Breast Cancer that required chemotherapy and radiation. I had a Bilateral Mastectomy with subsequent TRAM Reconstruction with Implants from a different surgeon. In recent years, I have developed symptoms of Breast Implant Illness. My breasts had radiation damage, circulatory issues, and asymmetry. I made an appointment with Dr. Straka to schedule a Bilateral En Bloc Capsulectomy to remove the implants with repair of the acquired defect to remove excess skin. I am thoroughly happy with the results of my breast implant exchange surgery performed by Dr Philip Straka. This was my eighth breast surgery and the one I had one year prior had a very poor outcome plus I required repair of my pectoralis muscles. So, this was a complicated surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Straka. I had my breast implants removed in December. I knew within the first 2 minutes I spoke to Dr. Straka he was the surgeon for me. He’s knowledgeable, caring, trusting, understanding and extremely skilled. He takes pride in what he does and I knew under his care I was in the best hands. He looks at you as a individual person and really evaluates what is best for you. My first surgery ever and I absolutely loved the entire process. I researched surgeons for months and finally decided to consult with Dr. Straka. I knew immediately he was the one I wanted to perform my BA. I explained to him my goals and he made some last minute decisions in the OR and I ended up with EXACTLY what I wanted. Dr. Straka is by far the best plastic surgeon I have ever been to. He is very professional and honest. He answered all my questions and went above/beyond!
