Dr. Philip Seo

Cold and incompetent, tried to brush off my vasculitis even though it was already diagnosed by another doctor who retired.

Dr. Seo was extremely dismissive of my symptoms, likely because I'm a young female patient. He was clearly not interested in having a conversation with me as he talked non-stop during the appointment and immediately wrote off my abdominal pain accompanying my vasculitis as PMS. When I told him that I track my cycles and the timing of my pain did not line up with menstration, he said "we'll have to agree to disagree". He disagreed with when I got my period... This ultimately led to a delayed diagnosis of an abdominal obstruction that required surgery. I would NOT recommend patients see Dr. Seo if they have any other options for providers.

Absolutely love Dr. Seo. We came from Denver and couldn't have been happier with his expertise, time spent with us, thoroughness, and bedside manner. My son was in children's hospital colorado for a month but we could not get follow up care from their rheumatology dept. Dr. Seo was well worth the trip.

I saw Dr. Philip Seo in October 2016 for a second opinion. I had been diagnosed by a doctor at an outstanding hospital in Cleveland Ohio but only with a broad generalization of my illness and not a specific diagnosis. Dr. Seo provided that specific diagnosis in a short period of time for which I am most grateful. He was able to make a diagnosis that made good common sense which no one else had done. Providing that information enabled me and my doctors in Cleveland to hone in on my treatment and my future prognosis.
