Surgery to repair trigger ring finger that was locking. Dr. informed me I was in an office for the procedure instead of hospital because of my insurance. He was not happy that I had worn a long sleeve shirt and made it difficult to put the tourniquet on my upper arm and was not told to wear long sleeve shirt. Was NOT the best experience as he had a hard time numbing my hand and he wanted to quit mid surgery because I could feel him cutting. Finished surgery and will see PA for stitch removal.

After breaking not one, but two wrists 3 weeks apart, I couldn't have asked for better care. Dr. Heyman and his staff were very professional and caring. They answered my many questions in a timely manner and were very encouraging in my recovery.

I find Dr Heyman easy to work with. He listens and understands the problems that come up with aging hands. Usually the solutions are quite simple but his experience also allows him to handle difficult situations. I highly recommend his services!

I would have given this a five star except for the wait time I had. I saw Dr. Heyman for elbow pain. I was seen quickly and Dr. Heyman and staff advised and administered a treatment plan. The process was painless and I am very happy with the results. I would happily recommend Dr. Heyman to anyone with a similar problem.

I recently broke my wrist and my experience with Dr. Heyman and the rest of the team has been fantastic. I was able to get in for an appointment the day after my accident and was booked for surgery the following day. Ciara went above and beyond to work through red tape with my insurance so I could get the necessary surgery as soon as possible. The surgery itself was as stress-free as possible and the nurses were amazing. I was a bit worried about being all alone due to COVID protocols, but they made me feel more at ease and explained what was happening every step of the way. I will be continuing my care at this facility for rehab over the coming weeks/months and I'm sure the standard of care will remain very high. Dr Heyman performed my surgery on my wrist a few years ago. He did a great job. I am pleased with the results. It was difficult. My son recently broke his wrist as well and had a consultation with him. He treated him with such respect and kindness and he was able to avoid surgery. The center is professional and efficient. Dr. Heyman was very thorough, took his time answering my questions and explaining to me. He didn't seem rushed. He was personable and I felt like he genuinely cared.

After 3 appointments of being seen maybe 5 mins, rushed, not listened to, wrong hand documented, wrong part of hand MRId, not believed, talked down to, dismissed, no diagnosis or plan provided, told he doesn’t know what’s wrong but it’s not surgical, I am now out money, time, patience and tears. Still in a tremendous amount of pain and I fell 3 weeks ago, no answers, solutions or plans. Unless the issue is obvious, he won’t even try. Unless it’s going to be a surgical payday, again, forget it. Staff - some are good. But I sat in that room and heard temp checks, one of the nurses clocked a temp, I heard her say to log as an okay temp but yes she had been exposed COVID. They let her stay. So this office clearly cares about money only and not their patients. Dr Heyman and his staff were very professional and friendly. Their office and the Focus Center were very Covid conscious. Would highly recommend.

Dr Heyman is perhaps the best hand Dr in town. I was treated with kindness and compassion he carefully listened to me and was very thorough in his analysis. I will always return to his office. New patients, do your paperwork online e before you come in. It helps everyone.

The front desk staff is very nice. That’s where it ends. The doctor came in to the room, looked me over and then pulled his mask up. I told him I was vaccinated and that he didn’t have to wear the mask if he didn’t want. He told me he didn’t care if I was vaccinated. He said I could walk in with a .45 and he still wouldn’t care. A few minutes into the exam he asked what my shirt said. So I said it was a Ruth Bader Ginsburg shirt and it said that women belong in all the places decisions are being made. He looked at me and said, “no they don’t.” I wish I would have known I had an appointment with a woman hater. I probably wouldn’t have kept the appointment. Towards the end of the appointment I asked what kind of brace I needed for my thumb. He measured an apparatus on HIS thumb, tossed it on the table and said, “use this.” When I asked what I should secure it with, he tossed some wrap on the counter and said, “that”. If you want to be treated very rudely, go see Dr. Hey man.

I heard his conversation with the patient "next door" he came in and said - I just heard the same thing next door - we have an epidemic!! I said NO - I HEARD the other person, this is different. His nurse was rough and uncaring when she did the x-rays. She had dirty unkempt nails, and the Dr. had on a dirty mask on that kept falling down on his face- while he was telling me to come closer to him. look at his picture- he came in in a shirt that was unbuttoned further than it should have been with no lab coat. I felt like I needed to wash when I left. I did agree to a cortisone shot to help the pain. The nurse brought it in in her clenched fist and dropped it down to the desk that was dirty. I think I was the only one washing my hands here - ewwwww . My hand? I took the picture that I took of the ex-ray on the screen, and took it elsewhere. Items he missed were pointed out immediately. I would not have this person cut in to my hand under any circumstances!!!!

I have recommended this office often and will do so in the future. They are great in every aspect of healthcare!

He was very professional, examined my hand and diagnosed the problem accurately, and suggested a treatment regimen appropriate to the problem. We will see how well it works out.

I was referred to Dr. Heyman after slipping in mud and landing on my right hand. Palm and thumb painful, swollen and bruised. After 3 appointments and told multiple times it wasn't a surgical injury, he couldn't even be bothered to give me a diagnosis or treatment plan. I also am not confident in what he did provide since on multiple occasions, both him and staff referred to the wrong hand, and also had the wrong areas MRId. I hurt my palm and thumb, and he had the wrist and lower thumb only scanned because he did not listen to me when I told him what and where. I honestly feel like he didn't see me as a possible surgery from day one, so I was not going to get proper treatment or guidance. I now have to get a second opinion and more costs because he could not be bothered.

Had a long wait to get seen and only was seen for maybe 5 minutes. They were very knowledgeable about my issues and were kind about my pain when they were moving my wrist

The staff and Dr. Philip were great, they gave me a shot for my intersection syndrome. My only complaint is before giving me the shot they sprayed my wrist to "numb" it but it ended up burning my skin.

I think that everyone was friendly and made me feel at home. Dr Heyman explained my Xrays and treatment. Everything was efficient, I never had to wait. I understood the treatment plan.

I saw Dr Heyman immediately following an MRI which confirmed a ligament tear in my wrist after a work injury. Dr Heyman was rushed and did not take the time to thoroughly review my scans or listen to me and told me that this “wasn’t an injury that was going to get me out of work”. I had not missed an hour of any scheduled shift for almost the 2 months following the injury at that time. I didn’t want to miss work, but wanted to be fixed. He gave me a steroid injection and I feel like he expected me to feel better immediately following the injection. They are painful to begin with so that wasn’t possible. I ended up going to a new dr who treated me with respect and kindness and we have since repaired the damage.

I first met Dr. Heyman when he was treating my son for a broken finger. He was great with my nervous kiddo, and this nervous mom. I saw him for a cyst removal from my thumb, and am currently being treated for another non-related issue. He is always professional, has great "bedside" manner, and makes you comfortable. His nurses are great too!

Dr. Heyman has performed three surgeries on my finger over my adult lifetime. I currently live out of state and flew to Colorado specifically to have Dr. Heyman perform my third surgery. I would trust no one else. He is an excellent physician.

Dr. Heyman is a great hand surgeon. He saw my wife through with a gross dislocation and wrist surgery to the very end. Now's my turn with my thumb! He is thorough in examining and in suggesting the course of action to get me back to where I was before. He does like to joke some ... I would recommend him to anyone I encounter who needs hand surgery.

Post surgery I am still extremely pleased with Dr. Heyman and his whole team! All were resourceful and warm throughout my recovery and I’m healed nicely!

There are as some confusion regarding the date of my appt and I ended coming in the wrong day. They were extremely accommodating and got me in quickly. Dr Heyman was very knowledgeable and got me set up in cast that day.

Dr. Heyman diagnosed my finger condition and did not recommend surgery as a first choice, which I appreciate. He explained the situation thoroughly. I was seen on time, which I really appreciate, the staff are all friendly and efficient.

Well the huge bump on my wrist and the chunk of bone missing in my hand hold “no significance” to the pain I “say” I have. Great way to treat patients. Doesn’t matter the bone is the rarest of all hand fractures the most commonly missed and can be the most painful... but hey what do I know I’m not the doctor. Dismissive, arrogant, rude, and needs to learn how to listen. Thanks for wasting the only Money I had to spend on trying to figure this out and now I get to just deal with the fact I can’t feel two fingers or my thumb or utilize my dominant hand for much of anything.
