He is an amazing doctor who really listens to you and will not stop searching until he finds the root cause of your autoimmune disease.

Dr. Petros is simply the best. His office is easy to find right off the park, quaint, and efficient! He has been able to diagnose all of my relatives and friends within a single appointment that have taken other doctors YEARS to try and figure out. I send everyone I know to him. Top notch rheumatologist in New York!

I have been seeing Dr Efthimiou for two years now and he has changed my life. He is patient, extremely smart, and I recommend him to everyone who needs to see a rheumatologist. I have Behcets disease and it would not be manageable without Dr Efthimiou.

Dr. Petros is kind, energetic and approachable. He spends a lot of time listening to his patients and does not dismiss their concerns and needs. It is hard to find doctors like this.

I spent years seeing lots of doctors trying to get a diagnosis. Dr Petros diagnosed me within two weeks of my first visit. I've been under his treatment for approximately two years and have had great results. I believe anyone who is suffering from arthritis should give him a try. He listens and makes sure you understand your symptoms and that you are having a saying in the treatment plan. When he moved to NYU last November I didn't think twice before following him to the new location.

I love his new office in Brooklyn Heights (97 Amity). Brand new and simply beautiful. The staff is extremely professional and accommodating. The doctor greeted me with a smile and remembered my entire medical history from the old location. You can tell that NYU knows how to run a practice very efficiently.
